Great locals kind of place. Reasonably priced for food and drinks. I loved the loaded baked potato and the filet was decent and priced right. Worth a visit for sure.

Restaurant and bar near Red Rocks Amphitheater. Great seating. Good service. Food was excellent. Great portions. Salmon was cooked really nice and tender and flavorful. No reservations required. Affordable pricing even for the steak dinner! Family friendly

This place is packed and most seem to be locals - which I love. You can definitely stir-up some good conversation! It does have a plain feel to the atmosphere though. Food is ok and the diversity in the draft beer selection is lacking. I will revisit and try a burger. Otherwise, if you are meetings friends for a drink or two, give it a try.

5281 was recommended by family so we thought we'd give it a try. We met up with a couple of friends and everyone seemed satisfied with their meals though none were blown away. As my wife said in her review, "for the price it's on point". Much like her as well, I don't really see the value in getting my steak from a strip mall restaurant. I ordered the New York Strip and it was quite thin. Flavorful, but since it was so thin, my medium was served well done - though I must note, still tender. The service was good and overall cordial & efficient. The ambiance, again, it's in a tucked away strip mall and seems to be more of a neighborhood haunt than something to go out of your way for. Will we be back? Maybe, depending on the circumstances, but again, we won't go out of our way to re-visit.

We love the staff at this place! It's very casual & relaxed! The menu is diverse but so home cooked! They have wonderful green chile & it's great on the loaded baked potato! They don't take reservations, so we always go early & when we leave, there's a line out the door!

5281 was highly recommended to me by coworkers and some of my clients. We live right down the road so we were excited to give it a try. We had some of the sandwiches, but apparently, some of the best things on the menu are the steak. I regretted not getting that because our sandwiches were just OK. I'd love to get this restaurant another try in the future and I'll definitely give the steak a whirl.

For the price, it's on point. The steaks are tender, filet nice and thick with the NY strip and other being quite thin... they do cook them to your desired temp though! Plastic plates and cheap metal-wear, but good food and a-okay service. I learned from this visit that I do prefer my steaks in a more upscale environment, so maybe that makes me a bit of a snob, but this place is a suitable alternative.

Great food, great service. Great winter soups....My only gripe would be that I wish there were more and more interesting specials!

Neighborhood bar/restaurant. Not a steak house/ seafood restaurant. I had a decent steak and my wife had a nice bone in pork chop. Good service, good value. Just not what I expected.
