3 Sons Italian Restaurant & Bar

I've been here twice before and each time had an amazing experience!I am extremely disappointed in the experience I had today.Our waitress left the table for 30 minutes without checking in on us. Each loaf of bread is $1.75, unless it's the cheese bread and then it's about $8.So, no free bread. Not a big deal! However, also having to pay almost $8 for a side salad seems a little crazy.No bread, no salad, no big deal--as long as the meal makes up for it.The actual meal itself was also not great. When our food came out, mine was lukewarm and lacked flavor. I got the split plate. It came with two meatballs, which was less than I would have expected, and the ravioli were ice cold. The meatballs were good, but the marinara was runny and pretty flavorless. Besides the temperature, the ravioli were pretty good, but the dish wasn't really worth $21.My dad let me try his lasagna and it was really good! It was the only food that actually had seasoning and flavor. My brother got a calzone that he said was soggy, but fine. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad. My mom and grandpa were disappointed in the marinara served with the eggplant parm and the spaghetti. My mom's eggplant was pretty hard and oddly sweet tasting, and my papa ended up leaving the spaghetti behind because he didn't care for it.I checked online and people were raving about the fettuccini Alfredo, so I ordered a side! It was disappointing, too. Runny and pretty flavorless. It tasted like watered-down milk with a small aftertaste of garlic.In terms of the atmosphere, the restaurant had live music tonight, which was actually really cool! Unfortunately, the decor is dated and the restaurant is pretty dark and our table was dirty when we sat down, which is less than ideal.I likely won't be returning.I understand that costs have gone up, and it's hard to keep staff (because the cost of living is so high staff often require higher wages). However, the solution is not to raise prices and cut what was originally offered/included in service as that only makes people more upset to pay such prices.The 3.75% card fee is not ideal, either. I understand that it's what the companies charge the restaurant, but most people don't pay cash. Most restaurants would simply eat that cost, whether or not it's smart business.Being charge for things that didn't used to have a charge, mediocre food (and wine), as well as a credit charge fee makes it hard to want to come back.

It was GREAT, very comfortable atomsphere. Never felt rushed even after arriving late. Food was amazing. Will definitely be returning.

calamari was 17bucks and portion was marginalized. place reeks of failing business. don't use your credit card, because there is a surcharge of 3.75% to "keep food prices low", all in while the highway robbery is happening.chicken parm was 27 bucks which pasta noodles smelled like throw-up (no cap) The app and chicken parm come arrived in 5mins run time. last time i checked, good food takes time.verdict. u in the mood for italian? say hello to some goodies from grammys in wheat ridge...

This was our first time here and I was excited to try them out. Unfortunately both my husband and I were disappointed. The service was great! Our server was very attentive and filled our drinks without us asking her to. We got our salad and garlic bread fast. Salad was not edible and my husband didn't eat it. The garlic bread had no taste! My husband thinks it tasted like frozen bread heated up.I was hoping my bolognese would be better but it wasn't. Sure it was nice and hot but it was bland. I tried adding parm shaker cheese but that didn't help. My husband had the bruschetta chicken and his wasn't good either. It tasted like old reheated chicken or it sat too long. Our bill was over $80 and it definitely wasn't worth it! We won't be back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Mike, Kelly and Team did an amazing job for the Holy Family Class of 1974 Reunion! Food was wonderful and the service was great. We enjoyed taking over the patio and the bar area for our event.

I had an outstanding dinner at Three Sons last Saturday. I started with a lovely Aperol Spritz....alla Veneto!The food....the food was delicious, beginning with the salad.I loved the vinaigrette which I learned is a special recipe ofChef Mike. Then I was enticed by the idea of Italian eggrolls .... the most wonderful fusion of stuffed eggrolls with Italian sausage, cheese, and delicious spices. They are deeo-fried and coated with a bit of marinara sauce. REALLY good!Finally, the most outstanding roasted salmon arrived with a side of mushrooms and spinach. Oh my! No room left for dessert. The service was delightful....I will definitely go back!

I was excited to try this place but my husband and I are so disappointed with the food. We got takeout and it has 0 flavor at all. I got the bolognese and he got the Alfredo. We felt we could have made better Italian at home.

We had an okay experience at 3 Son's restaurant. Nothing was outstanding or bad. I would go back but have other Italian restaurants we prefer. We were there due to proximity that night.

We recently had an engagement party for my son and nephew. We reserved their special room there was about 25 people and it was great. We had our own server and she was very good at keeping everyone's drinks filled.The buffet was excellent we had chicken Parmesan and rigatoni, also a salad, bread and mini dessert cannolis. If you are looking for great food a private space and well priced buffet we recommend 3 Son Italian restaurant. The Hardy family

Love thefood. The st a ff and the owner. Always enjoy great food and service. For great italian food, visit this place. And the pizzas are fabulous.
