Went to 242 to see a Sunday football game not available at home. Wife and I shared a BLT with fries and a side of onion rings. Rings just tasted really good. Sweet potato waffle fries were done great ... still soft and very tasty. BLT was pretty much standard fare okay taste but unremarkable. Did try a craft beer ... Hopzilla or Hopidillo something like that. Turned out to be a hazy IPA and dang good!!!

Decent Pub food. Fish & Chips are quite good.Chicken Fried Steak passable. Cobb Salad with grilled chicken is good. Fresh, salad as a meal. Wings are not my favorite. Their green bean sides are excellent if not strictly speaking vegetarian.Coleslaw is inconsistent, from bad to edible... it's creamy, which I'm not a fan of anyway. Servers are generally polite... though seems a pretty quick turnover. It's kinda loud. Pub type atmosphere with a couple of bar box pool tables with bad felt on them.

This place was great order the 2 spicy crabs with 1/2 pound of shrimp, when it came out it had a free crab with it! I was a bit hesitant didn't think the spicy could actually be infused into the crab without it being a wet sauce. Oh boy I was wrong! It was so so good! Bf had the regular cheeseburger I believe and he thought he should've pattied up. But shortly after eating the fries he was full. Definitely be back!

I can't figure this out??? The menu has NO PRICES on it, so you can be charged any amount? I eat out a lot, never seen this before. Charged $9.99 for one hamburger and $13.99 for another??? Service at lunch was SLOW, so don't go if you are in a hurry. (one waitress & one bartender) Food was good. Blackened catfish tacos (2) on the lunch menu served with chips and queso, even though menu said "coleslaw & fries". The restaurant had an overall terrible smell & upholstery on chairs needs replacing. Preparing for COVID again? No ketchup, salt or pepper on tables. And remove the gum stuck to front of chair back. May get food to go next time to avoid the atmosphere

Read the Elite Reviews: they're the ones to trust. All elites like this location, and I agree: great sports bar atmosphere, (music, TV's), excellent service from Micheala, fantastic food (best fried pickles since I recall).I had double fried wings with 242 buff sauce. I like my wings well done, and that's exactly what I got. Could not have made them better myself, and the tangy buff sauce was great! Mrs had the biggest fish tacos I've ever seen, super stuffed with tuna and double wrapped in delicious corn tortillas with a spicy sauce.

This was not the best place I've been too. The inside was worn down and dirty. Trash on the floor, and didn't seem well kept. We didn't even stay for a full meal. We got the check after the appetizer. The cheese curds were good, so I'm giving it 2 stars. I wasn't even comfortable to go to the bathroom it was so nasty. The service wasn't very friendly either. There was little to no communication, and when we asked for the check he didn't even acknowledge us, or say anything when he brought it (or any of our drinks for that matter). I wouldn't recommend.

Do not pass up the opportunity to get the double fried, naked wings, and whenever possible, please request Rachel as your server. She can single-handedly, provide great service, accurate orders, with such a great attitude, even for a large group of people. This place is so inviting, even on their busiest nights.

I'm giving 2 stars because the food was good (after I sent back the Friday "special" fish and chips because the fries were room temperature and the fish was barely hot). My husand's etouffee was good - but we were a little disconcerted to find no prices on the menu (and when we got the bill, found out that his meal was $18.99). There was a QR code on the menu to scan for pricing - but are they raising prices so often they can't afford to print them on the menu?Our waitress (and all the others) congregated at the bar most of the time we were there. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full but we waited almost 1/2 hour for our food - and I could see into the kitchen that meals were waiting on the counter most of the time before the waitresses went in to bring them out.Definitely off our list......
