The food and the ambiance was amazing. The music was on point. Our waitress made sure we was good.

Food was great, ambiance great and decorum contemporary and jazzy. I came for lunch on a Wednesday and will return. Service was also great. They have live and DJ music on weekends. Seafood lunch, salad and appetizer were all delicious. The only reason I rated this restaurant 4 stars is because they were out of the buffalo chicken dip for the chip/dip appetizer. It was early. The restaurant was empty and they were out of a part of this appetizer. With my approval they subbed a double portion of the spinach dip. It was delicious but I would've loved to have tasted the buffalo chicken dip .... Maybe next time. Restaurant still recommended!

Made reservations, arrived on time, seated at table for 15 mins no one came, we left!!!!!If you going to do automatic 18% gratuity maker sure you are giving the service that stands out!!!

This is a cute, quaint sports bar tucked away at the end of the shopping plaza. I almost drove past it because the sign wasn't big or bright. When you walk in, it's cozy and inviting. It wasn't busy when I arrived so we were seated immediately. The DJ was playing a good mix of rap & R&B and all TVs had the basketball game playing so it's a good place to just go and chill. For food, I ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. None of the food had much flavor. The seasoning on the outside of the salmon was okay but once you bit into the salmon, there wasn't a ton of flavor. There didn't seem to be any seasoning on the broccoli or mashed potatoes either. I'd go back for the vibe but not so much for the food.

We alway enjoy going to 1942 on Friday night to listen to the live music. Great vibe. Chilled location. Salmon salad was on point.

Good food and great atmosphere for a Wednesday night date. I was expecting the regular dine in restaurant but this place is more of a bar and grill with hookah and a live Dj. Even though I made the wrong choice of entree the food was surprisingly good. Definitely above average for a bar and grill type of establishment. The shrimp Alfredo got rave reviews and my grouper was seasoned and fried to perfection. Free parking

Food was delicious! Drinks were on point! Service was friendly. Ambiance was nice! The DJ kept the music flowing.

**Review:1942 (ANTI)Social Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Customer Service**I recently visited 1942 Social with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was extremely disappointing. Not only was I NOT greeted upon arrival, but the staff completely ignored me as I stood at the bar waiting to be served.Despite waiting for several minutes, no one acknowledged my presence or made any effort to take my order. It was as if I was invisible. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but basic courtesy and attentiveness should never be overlooked.Ultimately, I left without ordering because it became clear that my presence wasn't valued. Customer service is a critical aspect of the dining experience, and sadly, this establishment failed in that regard. I won't be returning and can't recommend it to others.

Saturday was my second time coming here all though the food was amazing and the service from both the server and the hostess was 100% thanks to the hostess for accommodating us for our table and our server Tanisa for making sure our order was correct a second time I would just have to say that the owner or manager light skin dude was very dismissive when we asked a question concerning our order he went outside and we seen him come back In he talks to the host and the server and then the host comes to our table and tells us about a 2hr rule which we know it's not her fault but him telling her to come and tell us was very disrespectful after we was ignored by him
