Zara Halal Grill

Zara is in the mall food court. The food takes a few minutes to come out because they cook it fresh on the spot for you! It's worth the wait. The food has savory spice, not excessive heat spice. Wings are well cooked, crispy and meaty. Not too exciting for me. I was hoping for more flavor or a sauce or a dry rub... something to boost them up. However, the bbq lamb was SO GOOD! A little drippy from the sauces but well worth it. Holy cow (it is halal after all)! My bro-in-law said the chicken salad was dynamite. The guys behind the counter may have a flat affect, but they definitely care about that they are serving you! I would gladly return for more!

I was looking for something not fried or greasy at the Willow Grove Mall food court, and thought Zara Halal Grill looked fresh and tasty. My sister and I each ordered a salad with different kinds of chicken and hummus and pita. The whole ordering situation was a little chaotic, like they did not have a system in place to order, pay, then wait, etc. It was kind of a free for all with no real direction and communication. It also took about 15 minutes, which is significantly more than the Chic Fil A next door, for example. BUT, with that being said this place still deserves 5 stars. It was worth the wait, and very tasty. The wait and somewhat chaotic ordering process is clearly because these guys are cooking as the orders come, fresh, on the grill. The chicken tikka was spicy and delicious, and the chicken kabob was also. Both were full of flavor and served on a bed of lettuce with tomatos, onions, olives, and feta cheese. I don't like tzatiki so I didn't get that, but the hot sauce it comes with is delicious. Also, the pita and hummus were super yum.

Ordered from here today, because I was limited choices. Ordered the veggie salad. Lame. Hot frozen veggies over lettuce, 2 cucumber slices, 1 tomato slice cut in half and olives. The best part- the olives. For someone who can't have dairy, I couldn't have the tzatziki sauce they offered so no other dressing option. Weird experience. The guy who go made our food seemed miserable too. Not a great first experience. Won't be back.

This is a must try at the mall food court. Food was made fresh to order and was better than most sit down restaurants. The positions were gigantic we should have split one but we have lunch for tomorrow

This was my first time. I was very impressed by the menu and options.The chicken and long grain rice was superb and the Falafel was perfect.The gentlemen was very informative as to what Everything was I could see it was clean as a whistle behind the counter. My order was done in front of me and handed to me in no time. I feel it is the best option in the food court and I will be back and encourage anyone to try it and I'm sure you will have the same experience. Next time I will try the BBQ.Great job!

I came here while shopping at the mall for a quick bite. I love Mediterranean food, but there aren't many good places near where I live. This is the best place I've been to in PA! The food was delicious! I got a chicken pita sandwich and my mom got the chicken salad. I can't have dairy and they were extremely accommodating and I can't say enough good things about the food! The service was also amazing and the staff was super friendly. Definitely going to come back the next time I'm at the mall.
