Zaika Indian Cuisine

The food in this place is fantastic. The decor is cute and simple. The samosas were delicious and the chutney and plum sauce were perfection. The spice 3 level was just enough to flavor the palate but not overwhelm. We were thrilled and will be back again. Keep up the fantastic food!

Quick summary: Nice bright interior, attentive servers, delicious food. As with most Indian restaurants, you pick the spice level. We went with 2 from 1-5, and everything had a nice kick without a lingering burn.The garlic Naan (always my favorite dish) was warm, fluffy, and garlicky.The menu isn't extensive but lots of vegetarian choices.We started with veg samosas, which were huge. My friend ordered the Chicken Dhaniya - lots of meat in the dish and a very nice creamy sauce based on nuts.I ordered the Sweet Potato Masala. The sweet potato chunks had the perfect texture - they held up in the sauce but were just soft enough to also be creamy on the inside.

I ordered a roti and when it came it was tougher than the naan where I had to bite into it with a lot of effort and It had a texture that was like grain or wheat. The roti i was looking for was the light fluffy pancake, almost like crepes but much lighter and fluffier. I gave it a try but I didn't like the texture at all! It was like eating hard cardboard. So I asked if I could send it back and she said no. She explained to me that it's in the table so she can't take it back. Well there goes the idea of sending my milk tea back as well because it had created a thin layer on top of the tea that just looked disgusting. I had a few sips but that is all could do because of the disgusting layer. So unfortunately I didn't leave her a tip because I would have left her a tip of she understood and took back the food she was serving because it was not what was expected. Yes they are edible but if I'm paying for somewhere that had really good reviews I should expect better. Her service was okay, not the greatest. I'll keep searching for a great Indian place!

Amazing food! We ordered food to be delivered and got tofu curry, samosas, among a few other things and everything was delicious and very large portions!!

I've posted about Zaika before over the years, and they continue to be excellent. I've had paneer sag in some other places and Zaika's is head and shoulders over the rest. Same goes for their onion pakora. My wife and I always get chicken dhaniya and we're always happy with it.

Over $20 for a tiny portion of tikka masala and the chicken was terrible! Zaika has really gone downhill

This place is so good. I've been twice now for Indian and I just love it. The garlic naan is to die for. I've had the butter chicken, tikka masala, daal, onion pakora, - I can't remember what else but it's all been delicious. I'd say it's a tad overpriced for the portion size but it's definitely my favorite Indian food and now it's on my way home so...I think it's safe to say that they'll be seeing a lot more of me!

Family of five with triplet 7-year boys. We ordered butter chicken mild and goat biriani medium with two orders of plain naan. We were their first customers for lunch. They were very attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. Everything was hot and ready to eat. It wasn't too spicy for the boys. They enjoyed everything, as did we. I like spicier, but we can't overwhelm the boys. Every plate was clean when we finished. No leftovers this time. It was the perfect amount of food for us. Good service and good food. Ten thumbs up from our clan.

By far some of the best authentic Indian cuisine dishes I've ever had. We've never had a bad dish and highly recommend the simple coconut curry chicken, coconut curry sweet potato and SAAG with cheese cubes. Been to this restaurant at least a dozen times and they've never disappointed.
