My go to dish here is the Jajangmyeon or what you called noodles with black bean sauce. It is one of the best and the most authentic flavor you can find at any Korean restaurants in Philly. It's delicious! Noodles are chewy and perfectly balanced with the sauce. The fried dumplings were also good. You can tell that they make it fresh and new batch everyday. We also had Beef Tangsuyuk (sweet & sour fried beef) It was ok and too sweet for me. Services are great, even though they know little English. You gotta love the Ajumma there. This is a great place for family dinner. Good price with generous portions. We will definitely come back to try more of their food next time.

Probably the best jjajangmyun in the Philly area. While I prefer Sang-Hi, it is a bit farther than I'd like. Yong Hwa Roo reigns supreme.Typically, I would get an order of fried dumplings and jjajangmyun, sometimes with a tangsuyuk or kkanpungi. The dumplings are always good.Jjajangmyun is solid, but I wish they would give some more pork! Otherwise, friendly and efficient service, and good food.

This place is legit. As a fellow korean who's had the real deal in Korea, it's safe to say I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about when it comes to a jajangmyun joint. Best place for korean-chinese food in the philly area. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Service is fast. And the food is really legit. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are in the mood for some good jajangmyun, come here and enjoy.

This place used to be the only place for jjajangmyun/jjampong noodles but it didn't taste as good as before. My eulmyun lacked flavor so I had to send it back to get it remade. They politely did it over but I had to wait when my party already finished. I l think inside the food court in Philly Hmart has the trophy in this area if your in the mood for the noodles.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening- we tried the restaurant next door a few years ago and enjoyed it and figured we'd try a new place. We opted to split a few dishes that we've never seen on other menus- crispy spicy pork dumplings and a house special- black bean noodles. We were pleasantly surprised by the dumplings- the filling was flavorful and moist- accompanied by an assortment of peppers- no dipping sauce necessary. After quickly mixing up the noodles we topped the noodles with a little raw onion, pickled radishes and Korean pepper flakes - don't let the black bean colored pasta deter you, the sauce is packed with onions, and small pieces of pork and potatoes and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning and trying out a few new dishes.

Best jajangmyeon place imo. And this combination of the noodle and the pork is just amazing! The tangsuyuk here is nothing like the common sweet and sour pork that you would get at a Chinese takeout. You can see the sauce here is clear unlike the usual orange color. For the noodle, if you like a thicker bean sauce, order the Gan jajang instead.
