Pretty tasty treat and a nice alternative to boba, especially if you're trying to avoid caffeinated drinks. Also, it is yogurt so you've got the probiotic benefits. Definitely a heartier snack/dessert. I tried the Mango Pomelo Sago and enjoyed it. Don't forget to adjust the sugar content! If you want, that is.

A healthier alternative to boba milk tea? I really hope so, but unsure if consuming a serving of rice is what I'm after. The yogurt wasn't as tart as I was expecting, so that was a pleasant surprise. It's also not super sweet, so once again, point for being healthier alternative. I could see myself choosing a yogurt drink once in a while, but it wouldn't fully replace my boba milk teas.

Yomie's Rice x Yogurt has been popping around all of Houston, and I decided to finally try it! Upon entering, the inside was very clean, and there was a lot of space. I got the regular Yomie's purple rice yogurt, haw purple rice yogurt, and straw to my berry. The purple rice yogurt and the haw purple yogurt were similar. The yogurt tastes similar to Vietnamese yogurt and is a bit on the tart side, and there are pieces of purple rice. The purple rice were very chewy, and I particularly like the texture. The straw to my berry has the same yogurt base as the other drinks but with lots of strawberry chunks, instead of rice. Overall, the drinks here are unique and refreshing!

I honestly don't remember what this was but it was just okay. I had been super curious to try this place but it was just aight. The rice yogurt is kinda tart and very slightly sweet. I guess i was expecting more of a sweet like oatmeal type drink but this was more of a greek yogurt rice pudding. My friend liked his but i just thought it was a little disappointing. The service was fast like any boba shop. Nice atmosphere there were games to play!

The Houston location is a significant improvement over the one in Austin/Cedar Park. The store is more spacious and not a combined space with a restaurant. While the service can be a bit slow, it's important to note that they prioritize making things fresh, setting them apart from some other boba shops. Now, on to the drinks. I tried the Mango Pomelo Sago Yogurt drink, and it instantly became my favorite here. The flavors were fantastic. I also had a taste of their Black Sesame Yogurt drink, which had a delightful but not overwhelming sesame flavor.

I came to this Yomie's location, since I was in the Chinatown area. It did replace N2 Ice Cream, which was previously here. Yomie's kept the original decor here. But, they added some cute elements as well. I saw a Grogu plushie! They also have free wifi. What's different about this location was that it offered summer drinks, of which the black sesame drink seemed the most interesting. They offer lychee and blueberry yogurt drinks too. I think I read that they don't always have these summer drinks. So, it's best to call the staff before you come here. On this visit, I was still craving the mango pomelo sago yogurt drink and ordered this instead. It was delicious, as expected. I do plan on trying the summer drinks before the summer is over. Come and check them out for a refreshing yogurt drink in this sweltering heat. PS - They take Apple Pay

Absolutely love this yogurt place! First time trying it was in Australia and have since then been super excited for all the stores popping up in the US. The drinks are mixed with fruit/rice/oats/etc almost reminiscent of a light yogurt slushee mixed with toppings. I love how you can customize the sugar level as well! I got the purple rice best seller plus the second place bestseller with the haw oats. I'm partial to the oats with its amazing texture and light sweetness. The purple rice is their signature drink that's a lot more filling due to the rice. It's slightly sweet given the glutinous rice. Service was quick and ambiance similar to boba shops. Would def check it out!

Came by to get a Yomie's purple rice yogurt because my brother's mentioned how great it is and it definitely is a filling drink with fun chewy purple rice.Quick service and a casual space that seems quiet and nice to chill, if you want to spend some time in AC.

I frequent Yomie's at Sugar Land but this was my time at the Chinatown store. The yogurt menu was the same at both stores but the Chinatown store offers special drinks. There was a rather big seating area for customers which is nice, and service was good. The strawberry yogurt drink was pretty good but not the mango pomelo sago yogurt drink. It lacked mango flavor and the there was minimum pomelo and sago in the cup. I would stick to my usual purple rice yogurt drink instead.
