I recently had my birthday dinner here and if I could turn back time, I would have chosen somewhere else. The food was unimpressive and so was the wait staff. Everything was dry or just tasted "blah". There were 7 of us there and none of us felt satisfied with our meal and had an overall subpar experience. If it wasn't for the wonderful company I shared my birthday dinner with, it wouldn't had been one to remember. I couldn't imagine a reason that I'd come back. Sorry, not sorry

This place was a really good spot we tried for lunch. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. The food was really good. The beef bento box was tougher than ideal like. I asked for medium but it was definitely overcooked. The flavor was still good otherwise. The edamame tasted bland. I wouldve liked a little more salt or seasoning. The sushi was spot on. I definitely recommend this place for those looking for a japanese restaurant without hibachi

What an experience! * Customer service was 5/5! Our server was very attentive and took great care of us. * This was my first time trying sushi.. I had no clue what to expect! Safe to say, I wasn't disappointed. * Although I came to try sushi, the habachi salmon really stole the show for me. It was cooked so well, I absolutely loved the glaze that covered the vegetables and salmon. The vegetable fried rice was pretty good as well paired with the salmon. * We came just before closing and the inside was still very clean and neat, I appreciated that. * They have some very unique wall designs pretty much all over the restaurant, very aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. * Will definitely be returning! I came in one night for take out and sat down at the sushi bar and was welcomed by the owner who was very kind and informative about the menu. She offered me Escolar with toasted garlic and it was so delicious as was the take out when my wife and I enjoyed it at home. Fast forward a week later we decide to dine in and let's just say they did not dissapoint everything was excellent , service was stellar. We are happy we found this spot as it is our new favorite on this side of town.

I order edamame, shrimp fried rice, sushi, wonton soup, side salad.I LOVE their fried shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura. It's always perfect. Fried to perfection. Delicious. Sauce. Yes, please!The shrimp fried rice serving size has gotten smaller but overall it's still a good serving. Their sushi is always a good size. Never enough soy sauce though. The food always arrives fresh and still nice and warm ready to eat. I usually order through Uber.

(I left this same review on google)Took a friend here because they had this dine-in special where they mark down a couple appetizers, I'll attach a photo.Before we even walked in, I made sure to look for the sign to make sure they still had it, and the sign was still up. But when we sat down, I tried to order one of the items, but our server told us, "Oh sorry, but I don't think we honor that anymore" and "They told me Tuesday that we don't do that anymore."She then went to ask, who I assume to be the manager, but the they came by telling me the same thing and that they, "forgot to take the sign down."Mind you, the server knew since Tuesday that the deal was no longer available, but no one, including the manager, decided to inform customers. I'd go as far to say this is lying to customers.The food also doesn't match the price at all. Mediocre, or mid, food for crazy expensive prices.This is the closest sushi place to me which is why I normally would come here, but I will no longer come here, ever.I strongly suggest going somewhere else, like the sushi place by HEB or the Outlets.
