This was AMAZING! My husband had the Drunken Noodles with crispy fried tofu. We shared the spring rolls with shrimp and I had the Yum Beef (Nam Tuek). The food is absolutely incredible. Mine had such fresh and crisp flavors with perfect spices. The spring rolls were really great too. My husband loved the drunken noodles. We also had a Thai tea boba slush and shared the fried banana. No complaints at all! It was all perfect and flavorful. Service was amazing and staff is friendly. Food came out very quickly and freshly made. The restaurant offers fine in and take out. You order on an iPad, which I like. I can take some time to figure out what I want, so I was also able to look at a menu on the wall first. The restaurant itself is small, but this is not a problem at all. Overall the best Lao and Thai restaurant I've ever been to!

The restaurant was a disappointment when entering because it was so stuffy and the kitchen area looked unsanitary. I was told to order on the kiosk which I did order the drunken noodles with beef and the larb. The drunken noodle flavors were not at all balanced and the larb was also not flavorful and not at all spicy as I requested it.Restroom was smelling and dingy; all I did was to go and wash my hands and it was not a clean restroom. I love my Lao and Thai food but this is not the home cooked version I grew up eating.

Atmosphere: Yin Dee is a Lao and Thai restaurant serving a variety of authentic dishes. They have a couple of tables inside, but it seems that they primarily operate based on online orders from the number of other pick-up orders we saw. Service: We ordered our food online, and it was promptly ready in ~20 minutes. Pick up was super easy! Food: We ordered the Vientiane Pho and Kapoon. The pho broth was savory and sweet and came with a generous portion of noodles. The meats were delicious and contrasted well with the broth, but we were hoping for a larger serving of meat. We were huge fans of the Kapoon! Though a bit salty at first, it was simultaneously flavorful and light. It came with yummy bites of chicken, as well as cabbage and carrots to add some crunch. Overall: Yin Dee is a solid spot with lots of options to try! We appreciated how well the food held up in our takeout order, and we're looking forward to trying some of their other dishes in the future.

Man!!! They are hitting hard!! The food is consistently good and prepared quickly. The service is very accommodating and the menu offer things I haven't seen in most Thai restaurants. This place is going to stay in the rotation when hungry for Thai.

Yin Dee has limited seating, but is a great option for take-out, which I think is where most of their business comes from. The hours for dinner end a bit earlier than some may expect, so be aware of that. The hours are clearly listed on the website, which is helpful.I recently ordered their Mee Kha Tee, which is a coconut broth-based dish with rice noodles, chicken, egg, cabbage, and carrots. It came with bean sprouts and some peanuts and lime to garnish with. The to-go order has the broth separated from the noodles, so I just had to mix the two in a big bowl and enjoy. The flavors were excellent - the coconut broth had some sweetness to it, but it was balanced out with some spiciness in the broth as well as the acidity from the lime. The portion size was also very generous and I was happily full after finishing it all.

My parents and I were really happy with this place. After a random pad thai craving, we decided to try a new spot and found Yin Dee. We called in for a pickup order and they were extremely patient and helpful while I asked them what various menu items were since a lot of dishes had traditional names. It took 30 minutes for our order, and coming to get the order I noticed it looked like a small family business that were taking their time so it made sense. Makes the food all the more enjoyable. It's a small restaurant with very few tables so I think pick-up/delivery is most convenient here. We got chicken pad thai, chicken wings, mee kha tee, and the tapioca dumplings. I guess I completely ignored the "tapioca" in dumplings because I was so surprised seeing the squishy translucent balls in my container but they actually ended up being very good. The filling in it was delicious and it tasted good dipped in sweet thai chilli sauce. The pad thai and wings were good as well. Our family favorite was the mee kha tee, which is red curry noodles. I liked how it was boxed separately so we could create our own portions and the curry was super flavorful.Note that they are under new management as of recently so a lot of the dishes seen on yelp/google are no longer there, so be sure to check in with the actual website. Our total was around $45 and I think it was a great price for 4 delicious items.

FoodVery authentic! I was only visiting Cary, but was pleasantly surprised to find Yin Dee had very authentic Thai and Laotian food. That being said, the spice level might be on the higher side so make sure to not be overly ambitious when ordering. Some of the items are a bit stronger in terms of flavor and some people might not like that. Service Dine in closes half an hour earlier than carry out. Service for pickup has been amazing every time we come here. They're always busy with orders, but really take the time to explain to you each dish if you have questions. They ended up making the wrong size for an item - I ordered small and they made large but gave me the large anyways. Ambiance Nothing super fancy - there are some indoor seats and a couple seats outdoors in the plaza as well.

Everything was delicious. Our first time there and found out it is family owned which makes it more authentic Imo. They were also so nice. Feels like you're eating with family. Can't wait to come back and try more from their menu.

Yin dee is where to find some of the best ramen in the triangle. It's located around RTP, so it shouldn't be too far from you, where ever you are.The service was excellent. Everything came promptly, and we were continuously checked on. Water was self serve, so you can get as much as you need to help you out with the spicy ramen. The ambience was casual and quiet. Just what you need to enjoy a warm bowl of ramen :)

Honestly one of the best Thai spots in the Triangle. Have been ordering takeout from them for years, and don't mind driving from West Cary to do it. I felt a personal pride tonight when my 9YO daughter proclaimed that Yin Dee is "her comfort food." She's not wrong! Their red curry is fabulous, their papaya salad is . Drunken noodles are chefs kiss... Tonight we tried their Lao fried chicken wings and were very impressed. Crunchy, flavorful, juicy..I know they struggled during the pandemic because their location is so reliant on the Perimeter Park professionals who weren't going into offices (and in large part still aren't) but they thankfully have stayed afloat.
