We return to Yi Pin often! The food is always wonderfully cooked. Most of the places around Philly mellow out the spice level to accommodate more sensitive palettes, but Yi Pin actually gives us some of the chili/numbing spice flavor we crave! I took my roommate that LOVES spicy food and is vegetarian and they now use Yi Pin as one of their go-tos for take out!Yi Pin is delicious! Service was very fast, accommodating, and all of the food was very flavorful. The numbing spice was a real winner for all of us. We especially loved the pork belly appetizer's sauce! The mix of chili oil, sweetness, and a touch of sour had us all eating it off our chopsticks! I personally LOVED the Spicy Sour Shredded Potatoes, too. They were playing fun music and there were lots of young groups around us, celebrating the Lunar New Year together. It was a really fun and celebratory atmosphere that I enjoyed a lot.

This place is so nice! It's clean, cozy, it's open late and the food is amazing! The portions are big so definitely share! They do have dan dan noodles for $8.95, so even if it's not on the menu...ask for it. It's amazing! It's open till 2 am so it's a great place to go if you want a good meal late at night. It's very happening and on a random Tuesday at 2 pm...it was packed!

This place is open late at night and has good eats. They have a full bar, tons of seating and a robust menu.the chicken and the fried rice were good. The soup dumplings were tasty too and wish we ordered more. The staff is attentive and very fast. Def recommend and we met a celebrity leaving the restaurant too.

This place is great if you want a late night snack after a long night out. After going to Trestle Inn, we decided to head out to Yi Pin. Lucky for us, they were open and serving food until 2am. The place has a gorgeous interior full of different kinds of chandeliers. There was even a tv in the center which was used for karaoke. Our server came out pretty quickly to take our orders. We got Dandan Noodles and Pineapple Seafood Fried Rice. The Dandan Noodles and Pinapple Seafood Fried Rice were ok. I felt like the Pinapple Seafood Fried Rice was lacking in flavor and there wasn't a lot of seafood in there (there was artificial crab meat and shrimp in small quantities). The pineapples would have been better if they came in bigger chunks. I ended up putting some of the Dandan sauce in the fried rice to help make it taste less plain.

My friend loves Sichuan food and recommended this place! They have a karaoke stage up front which is pretty interesting. Dumpling in Chili Sauce 8/10- tangy spicy note- filling was good and skin was chewy Fried String Beans 10/10- had the crunch to it still, not overly salted- nicely seasonedDouble Cooked Pork Belly 9/10- I expected it to be large chunks, but definitely enjoyed the thin slices much more- very flavorful oily goodnessDry Chicken 8/10- crispy - would've liked there to be bigger chunks of chickenSpice level was perfect for all the dishes -- enough to get the heat but still enjoy the food! Service was a bit below average as staff seemed inattentive and didn't check up on us or fill our waters. We ended up having to go up front to ask for our check and to go boxes.

The food dishes here have good flavors, not complicated and classic style. The interior is interesting and a bit wild. Dumpling items are decently fried or steamed, taste was moderate. Overall was quite decent but not exceptional, and very good they are open late for having a meal. The staff are very busy when there are full number of tables, and mistakes happen or table is missed. Manager should hire an extra or two to help this.

The restaurant offers an authentic Sichuan-style cuisine with delightful decor. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. If you're not a fan of spicy food, be cautious as the menu has a special marking--a red pepper symbol--to indicate the spiciness.私心推薦麻辣口口脆跟千頁豆腐,都是很有特色的菜!

Yi Pin restaurant has a variety of Chinese dishes such as barbecue, Sichuan spicy cuisine, and many street foods. The dishes are well made and taste authentic. However I do not overall enjoy a satisfying experience because of a few factors. The service is mediocre and I don't feel very welcomed. Their interior decorations are confusing and feel like Chinese restaurants in the 2000s trying to be fashionable with an European style of irrelevant wine bottles, chandelier, and fake plants and flowers. The food is also expensive and small in portion - prepare to spend 25-30 per person. In the context of Philly where good Chinese food is limited, I would say it's not bad, but I don't crave the food here and won't hesitate to go somewhere else when the option appears

One of my favorites for szechuan in city. Large space inside, they always have some weird karaoke videos going on but no one ever sings. Dishes are on pricier side 18$+ but tasty. Tried a lot here over time ... lamb/beef cumin, dry pot, hot sauce fish, crispy chicken, crispy corn, shortrib special, string beans, mapu tofu. All fairly tasty, portion size is regular. Favorites of mine are lamb/beef cumin and dry pot. Overall good restaurant.
