Why 5 stars? Because all of these Shipley-esque spots are just as great as the OG. --- --- ---Before I moved away from Houston, I just assumed that donut shops with kolaches were prevalent in all corners of the country. I would be wrong. In Florida (and briefly Ohio), virtually no one had even ever heard of kolaches. And the donuts were more like the Krispy Kreme/Dunkin variety aka terrible. But here in Houston, there are approximately 4,000 donut shops per square mile and all of them follow Shipley's to a T - from the looks, to the smells and most importantly, to the tastes.I've wanted to try Yes Donuts for a while now but kept putting it off, because of the aforementioned donut shop concentration. When craving donuts and kolaches, I would have to drive past multiple Shipley's and other donut shops to get to Yes, so why not just go to the other ones that are just as delicious? So I probably won't be back often, but that's not a knock on Yes. It's purely geographical. If I lived, in say, Stillwater or even Jacob's Reserve, this would probably be my go-to- spot. And if I am nearby and looking for some treats, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. But for now, I'll stick to Snowflake right by my house.

Coffee, an old fashioned donut, and small sausage and cheese croissant. Breakfast for less than $4.00, easy counter payment, no atmosphere at all. Standard quality. No sign to let you find this place, so I'll tell you it's just to the right of Dogtopia.

Great little donut shop. They have several different kinds donuts. Regular glazed, Sprinkled maple, strawberry, cherry, chocolate, and white icing. I'm sure I'm missing some some flavors, but they have a lot to choose from. They have cake donuts, cinnamon rolls, bear claws, donut holes, jelly filled and so many more. Kolache's big and small. Jalapeño and cheese or plain. Coffee and other drinks. They have their own taste for donuts. It's not like the big chain that's all over. Check it out. You won't be disappointed

Fluffy donuts, limited hours, half case donuts, half case Texas breakfast things, that no one buys- but they make tons of those, but not a lot of donuts.. but the donuts were pretty good- on the smaller size.. and not a lot of selection.. Apple fritter was my favorite because it was good sized and fluffy too.. Had a iced mocha too, one size and pretty good too...Used a Yelp deal $5 for $10...As 1 dozen of small donuts will run you $20ProsFluffy and softYelp deal saved me $10Donut holes were the bestMocha was good tooConsSmall donuts$20 for a dozen?Low selection of donutsWhy they make whatever they are bread with meat inside STOCKED, but full case, while donuts are the whole reason why I came here in the first place are limited

Donuts are always fresh and seem to last longer than regular donuts. I love their variety and how soft yet crispy fresh they feel. Beat donuts in the area.

I have been to Yes Donuts in the past and their initial appeal was that they were so close and made good donuts / kolache's. I also love to support small businesses so it all worked out. But today, sadly the service was not up to standard and the business no longer seems as incentivizing. I walked into the donut shop and it had a quant ambiance. It was small, but was big enough for a kolache / donut shop. There is no places to sit down, so expect to grab the food and bring it home or eat it in your car. Also, be mindful of the voucher on yelp. They no longer redeem the voucher, so the $5 I spent on the $10 coupon didn't mean anything when I went to the business. The food was as good as any other normal kolache / donut shop. So if you are near a closer kolache shop, making the trip out to this one I would say is not worth it.Hopefully in the future they add some more innovation to their menu and correct these little issues with the voucher, but until then I will go to the donut shop down the street .

First time here but probably also the last. Unfriendly customer service and they give me an old croissant. Very dry.

I walked out . Yes donuts is still spreading fear and division 3years after covid is over. Social distancing and masks were never proven to be a preventative of any flu. yes donuts still have little circles on the ground requiring customers to social distance and stay 6 ft apart. Of course employees are masked up. Get rid of the fear.

Sign on the door says open at 4am. Lights are on at 6, neon sign lit up as "open", employees clearly visible inside, but the doors are locked. I called, it went to voice-mail. Called again, I was blocked. Don't waste your time with this place.
