Came to the YDBC on a whim. We were in the plaza having lunch and happened to walk by this amazing smelling bakery. After watching a documentary on sourdough just the night before, my fiancé and I were adamant about getting a loaf of fresh sourdough at our next opportunity. It was all too convenient to walk in and grab the last fresh loaf of the day. Yellow Dog is a great little shop with indoor and outdoor seating and an awesome selection of freshly baked breads and goods. We also grabbed two cookies to try as well. The staff was very friendly and put everything together super quickly. Even sliced the bread for us. We ate the bread daily through the following week and it was still good. One of my favorite souvenirs to bring home... fresh bread! If you're in the area and hankering for a fresh loaf... 10/10 recommend a stop in to YDBC!

Such great bread. I love coming to yellow dog bread because I feel like I'm in a movie. They have great specially drinks, and during the holidays they have themed desserts and other goodies. The place is a bit small, but that adds to the charm. I've never had a bad experience here and the cashiers are always super helpful when I'm being a littleeee indecisive from all the amazing options.

Sweet little bakery with so many baked good options and good coffee, bustling with people, indoor and outdoor seating, and a trendy vibe. Staff were very friendly and helpful, though they definitely didn't have time to sit and chat. At times, the line was out the door! All baked items were labeled with the day they were made; you could order lots of sweets, a few savory items, and could also order dinner rolls (I saw lots of mobile orders waiting for pickup, probably since thanksgiving is coming up). We ordered a regular cinnamon roll, a pecan cinnamon roll, and an autumn spice latte. The cinnamon rolls were good, though I thought the pecan rolls were the slightest bit dry, as the glaze on top had really hardened and hadn't gone through the roll much. Don't order that one if you have tooth problems -- the top really was kind of hard. The coffee was great -- very hot, so don't take a sip until you've let it cool off! We started with outdoor seating but had to move indoors as some bees were attracted to our cinnamon rolls. There aren't many indoor tables, so we felt lucky to get one.

Great spot for baked goods & coffee drinks! We got the coconut earl gray scone, cheddar bay biscuits, and cinnamon roll. After paying, we were given our pastries right away and waited for our drinks (Mexican chocolate mocha & toasted almond latte) to be prepared. The baked goods were all tasty, although (and this is just a personal preference) I would have liked to have them warmed up, especially that big cinnamon roll. Having that gooey guy warm would have been other level. The coconut earl gray scone was probably my favorite since it was unique and flavorful. Coffee drinks were yummy and prepared well. I'd definitely come back to try other pastries, but perhaps not eat them there, instead taking them home to nuke them in the microwave to really get the best experience.

Cute and convenient location with good drinks and friendly people. Tried a variety of pastries (cinn roll, pecan sticky bun, cranberry scone, pound cake & baguette). The flavors were nice but everything was on the dry side for my taste. Maybe the oven temps are a bit too low and the pastries get dried out?The baguette flavor was great, but still just a tad too hard and dried out. I'm sure everything would be great dunked in a beverage though.

Their marble loaf cake was to die for. Loved it. Coffee was good too! Nothing too special. But definitely better than other spots.

I stopped in to grab a loaf of bread and chose the cinnamon raisin. It was so tasty. I can't wait to return to try more breads and a few pastries.

A great spot for coffee and baked goods! We got a coconut earl grey scone, cheddar bay biscuits, and a cinnamon roll, all of which were great. We also got a Mexican chocolate mocha and toasted almond latte to drink, both well made and flavorful. Would definitely come back!

Not quite sure why the line was so long or why the ratings are so high here... staff was very nice, it was super cute inside, coffee was eh and pastries were not thrilling in the least bit. Cinnamon roll was very dry, dense, with lack of gooey-ness and subpar frosting. Scones had good flavor but were not the best scones I've ever had! I am visiting from the West Coast and we have a plethora of great coffee shops/bakeries, so maybe I'm biased.. but if you're going for coffee and a cute stop, visit here! If you're going for great pastries, I would venture elsewhere.
