Our first time at YaYa and we were very pleased. At the ground floor of the condo Navette on the Bay lies YaYa. You can drive by this place and never know it's there. We started with the hummus which was well appointed with pita. For the mains we shared the Arayes Burgers with lamb and beef - just excellent and something to try. We also had the Main Lobster Cobb Salad with perfectly cooked lobster, very smokey and flavorful bacon, truffle, a bunch of other stuff with a cream goddess dressing - just a perfect mix of flavors. Lastly we had the Swordfish Milanese with the fried egg and have to say it was way better then we thought. And lastly we had the Baklava Cheesecake that was out of this world - go there just for this - if was very unique and I have never had anything like this. The service started out slow but quickly picked up and ended up being excellent. The only drawback is the valet - maybe it was a bad night due to the rain.

Great hidden gem with beautiful ambiance and decor with beautiful views! Upon arriving, it is definitely easy to miss as it's situated in a residential pocket on the water. Valet was up front and it costs $15. I am unsure if there is in street parking for free. Upon entering, the hostess appeared distracted and was not present, welcoming or offered any direction, just "you can sit at the bar" when I was asking where the outside bar was. However, the bartenders were very attentive and accommodating, drinks were amazing! We had another experience with the hostess when we had advanced reservations and were led to sit at a low couch with a low table and not an actual table.. I'm not sure how they would consider that seating for dinner. We returned to the bar and were seated at a table not too much longer. We ordered the spicy cauliflower, flaming saganaki, lamb and beef burger, mashed potatoes, and filet mignon. The accompaniments served with the lamb burger were off- harissa ketchup and pickled vegetables- seemed it would go better with other options which the manager was very receptive to hear the feedback. The server took notice without calling attention that this dish was not preferred and offered alternate which was going above and beyond. The spicy cauliflower was a whole head of cauliflower.. seemed it could use a bit more sauce or flavor as you wouldn't know there was pomegranate in the dish based on the few seeds sprawled on top. The sides are definitely shareable.. the filet was cooked to perfection and was delicious along with the mashed potatoes. We ended the night with dessert which did not disappoint. Overall, I would say the location draws an eclectic crowd- it did seem off to have children running around but I was not surprised based on location. I think it would be more lively with some entertainment in the evenings. Also, maybe it was just me and the guy heading to the restroom at same time but we almost walked in opposite restrooms- I don't think they're clearly marked? As for valet, I'm sure it's a contracted company but I feel $15 is overpriced for the area they are in and upon requesting our vehicles, they were sitting around conversing and missed our requests so we had a 10min wait. Plus side of our experience was excellent service and the drinks were fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even though my friend did not, the hospitality balanced it out.

amazing experience from start to finish and lets talk about that VIEW!!!!! A much needed new restaurant in this neighborhood for foodies. Everything we had was superb, and I was super impressed with the wine list! We found a few bottles we really loved from Frank Family and fell in love with a new little rioja they serve by the glass. Service was top notch and very friendly. Welcome to the neighborhood YAYA! so excited to have you here.

Amazing experience! Beautiful, casual chic decor with an incredible waterfront view. Excellent service: upon arrival the hostess warmly greeted and made us feel welcomed: our waiter, Luis, made great recommendations that did not disappoint; and the owner , Angel Febres, visited our table to get feedback. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend the hamachi, and the grilled oysters! The Branzino filet was the absolute best I've ever had - Perfection!!! The lobster risotto was delish - with generous lobster chunks. The house rioja wine was great! We ended the meal with baklava cheesecake with pistachio which proved to be a spectacular ending to a phenomenal lunch. We also asked for carajillo which is not on the menu, and the bartender made the BEST cold version. Will highly recommend this gem to friends and family.

Chef Todd Zimmer has knocked it out of the park once again! This beautiful escape away from the city is on the bay in North Miami. The calming decor of the restaurant didn't spare any details. From the textures of the walls, to the ceilings, there is something that will lure your eyes. The cuisine is more so a Mediterranean fare, with plenty to choose from. There is plenty of unique flavors within each dish, that will make you wonder why you haven't integrated these spices in your own kitchen. We used Waze to get to this restaurant, so it took us through a neighborhood to get there. At first we weren't sure if we were headed in the right direction, however we then saw the welcoming valet team. They were nice when we arrived and were kind when we were leaving. When you go into the restaurant, you have an option to dine inside, or on the covered well decorated patio overlooking the bay and city lights. They had a DJ playing great music to go along with the vibe. If you are wondering since they are in the bay, they do have 14 slips if you want to come by boat. Hosting a special event? They even have that covered! There is a private section to the restaurant that you can gather with your guests, and if you have a smaller exclusive group that you need privacy, they also have a gorgeous dining room that can be sectioned off for your privacy. We enjoyed, char grilled oysters and hummus for appetizers. They were full of flavor. For our entree we had prawns with an herb salad, and Roasted Bell and Evan's Chicken with a salad. Everything was flavorful, and we will be back to try other items on the menu. We chose to eat inside, and could hear each other's conversation well. I would like to acknowledge one busser. I think his name was Robert. I noticed he was extremely attentive to what was taking place everywhere in the restaurant, and would acknowledge what was needed. I saw a woman's purse fall next to her chair, many walked by, however he noticed and picked up the purse for the customer. He will go far with acknowledging these small details. So by foot, car or boat, go check out this new place on North Miami's' Beautiful Bay, right next to the NE 79 St. Bridge on the North West side! Enjoy!!

The food is spectacular, I highly recommend the following dishes for a a refreshing experience. If you love sea urchin the chef serves and amazing "UNI" in seawater, along with the scallop and hamachi crudo dishes are out of this world. I ate a terrific lobster cobb salad. If you don't get it you're missing out. The service is amazing, they know exactly when you either want another drink or are ready for the next course. I have to be honest the Ambiance is nothing like I have ever experienced. If you love the mediterannean atmosphere with great loud music that makes you want to sit in our outside patio area all day. THIS IS THE SPOT TO GO.
