I wanted to LOVE the food from Yantze as much as the people who recommended it in a local facebook group seemed to, but just didn't. I called and ordered takeout. The person on the phone was friendly, helpful & efficient - gave me my total and an accurate wait time. The 3 people working the register and take out area were all friendly and on top of their job. The ambiance and decor are beautiful!The food was just..okay. Not bad, but not enough to make me want to order it again. The egg rolls were good. The wonton soup was good but the noodle to filling ratio was surprising. Way less filling than I've ever experienced. The pan fried pork dumplings were top notch! The Yantze Combination was just okay. When I opened the container I was pleased to see a decent amount of meat on top, but under it was mostly vegetables. The sauce had a good flavor. The fried rice that came in the combo was delicious and fresh. The mandarin chicken was disappointing. Lots of little bits of chicken. The sauce didn't have much flavor to it at all. The house wasabi mustard was potent! The dipping sauce that came with fried wonton pieces was tasty. I'm sure Yantze has some top dishes that make people return, I just didn't find that in what I ordered.

Did take out and had the moo sho pork, shrimp with mixed veggies (white sauce) and hot and sour soup.The soup had a bit too much rice wine vinegar but was still good. The moo sho pork had a really smokey flavor to it, in fact too much for my liking. The shrimp with veggies and white sauce was okay.Overall the meal was okay.

The food was delicious when we ordered delivery, but when we went in person we had to walk out after waiting to be seated. There were two people at the front counter and they greeted us, but they didn't offer to seat us and we had to ask. Neither could seat us and we had to wait for the host. After waiting around for the host, we decided to leave. It was a Friday night. Not sure if I want to come back in person again.

Too sad i used to love this place and food but Place went down hill after pandemic I ordered exactly same food on pic but this time food looked nothing like that. I should have taken pic. They were all blended and watery. Sesame chicken was just looked and tasted like boiled chicken dipped in sauce and noodles were tasteless and blend. Should be stirred fried but all like boiled and watery..... i wanted to support local business but the quality dropped significantly low.... There was no customer inside. Even though it was past lunch time like at 3:15pm on sunday.

I would climb the great walk of China to get to this place! The first time experience was fantastic, far above the other Chinese restaurants I frequent in the area. The won ton soup was by far the best I have ever had, big thick dumplings with tasty filling. The hot and sour soup was also among the best I have ever eaten, top notch. The egg roll and spring roll were not equal to everything else , they were just ok and not even close to 5 star.The Hunan beef melts in your mouth , very spicy, tender and tasty . The Mandarin chicken was also fantastic and very tasty . This is their most wonderful popular dish and I can see why people love it. They even give you ice cream and it was phenomenal!This place is super tiny , maybe seats 20 people so take out might be the best option!

They are so kind. My girlfriend and I went last Friday and there was a mishap with the chips they give. We weren't mad but they made us feel very sorry. Gave me an egg roll because I ordered the wrong one! Just so nice and kind. They gave us a discount but we didn't think it was needed.
