This is a very good Mediterranean Restaurant. I ordered the Lamb Kebobs for an entree and almond baklava for desserts. The entree came with a very good side salad, hummus, pita bread, rice and vegetables. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and all the side items were delicious. The baklava portion was enormous and delicious. I recommend sharing the baklava, if you are not dining alone. This restaurant is located in Downtown Denver, it was easy to find parking.

Well I don't usually write these things but- HOT DAMN. Butter me up and take me to the Greek. This food was blessed by Athena, kissed by Apollo and marinated by Hermes. Aphrodite tops these dishes with love. Me and my honey boo boo split three dishes: Gyro Plate, Chicken Kabob Plate and the Chicken Shwarma Sandwich (Pita). First off- Hummus on Crack. Warm slices of perfectly toasted pita carry this creamy chickpea delight to an unspeakable taste. Delish doesn't do it justice. Taziki was making me crazy. I had to ask for more. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My ancestors were salivating watching me enjoy these dishes. And finally- the Gyro meat. Beef and Lamb that just make you really appreciate these animals. With every bite I was reminiscing on the times I spent growing up on a farm and how great of care we took of the animals in preparation for them to be enjoyed and consumed on this level. Only thing is, I never lived on a farm.Overall 10/10 if you are thinking about even going here and need more- shoot me a message on instagram: @sparky_mcnuggetsPS they do sell the soups in 12oz and 16oz options to take home.

We traveled to Denver and of course we had to try some local places. For lunch, we tried this place. Located on Colfax st, it is a quite and modest place that could be missed if you're not looking. However, this nice jewel shouldn't be missed if you want tasty Mediterranean food. The service was gentle and quick! Our food was out in the blink of an eye. We ordered the hummus to start. It was creamy and rich in flavor. The presentation was excellent! Then, we ate the chicken shawarma and the gyro plate. The chicken was dry but the garlic sauce helped it with moisture and additional flavor. The gyro was tender and had a nice flavor, but it also was missing being juicy. The tzatziki sauce also helped it. The rice was just as nice as you'd expect. Overall, this was a great and unexpected find during our trip with good food and service.

The best lamb kafta! It is juicy light brown deliciousness. The huge plate of hummus with chicken is tasty with warm fresh pita. The food came out fast and the hot Turkish tea at the end of meal is perfect. We got baklava to go for late night snack. The walnut baklava is crunchy outside and soaked with flavorful honey.

Stopped by based on Yelp reviews. Party of 2 for lunch. We ordered the meat lovers and the lamb lunch specials. With an order of falafel. Our dishes were perfectly seasoned. There is a red sauce that cane with the dishes that made our food Devine. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant was clean and quiet. Lots of seating inside. I am delighted that we stopped here. It is worth the drive if you like Mediterranean food. The sad thing was that we were starving, and by the time I remembered to take a picture, food was gone!

I have really been loving the veggie plate here. The sheer variety of food included in it makes it veggie heaven. You get a little bit if everything. Falafel, tabouli salad, turmeric rice, baba ganoush, hummus and pita, grape leaf, lentil soup. And as a vegetarian leaning person I sometimes find it difficult to get much variety in my diet and this plate really makes up for that. It's a vegetarian feast! And the portions do not disappoint! One important thing to understand about Yaya's is that they are one of the best takeout options in the city. When takeout is usually limited to pizza and Tai food. Yaya's is very good at making their food translate well in takeout form. This may be a result of their small dining room. And they will make things nice for you if you prefer to dine in. But for me, getting to enjoy fantastic, quality food in the comfort of my own home is a huge game cWether you prefer a nice lamb shank or you are looking for more meat free options the food here is so nourishing and fresh and consistent. It just makes me feel so good even when I eat too much of it. And the veggie plate being a few dollars cheaper gives you one more good reason to go veg! I know that the veggie plate a Yaya's will be something I pine for long after I have left Denver. But I guess it's better to have loved and lost.

Best food in the world! Amazing service, incredibly kind owner. Loved the kebabs and couldn't stop eating the baba ganoush. Save room for the baklava. Would go back again in a heartbeat.
