Went here to watch a football game with the Penn State Alumni, and it was so fun. They have many TV screens, and service is friendly and fast - good food options, too!

This place is great if you want to watch sports as it has multiple TVs and they play the game with sound, which is not always the case in many restaurants/bars in the area. The best spot to watch the games is on the bottom floor but that comes with a big downside. They have these Big Fans that run the whole year at full speed - no matter how full or cold the place is. It gets super chilly and windy to the point that my eyes dry down from the wind and I have to sit there in a big coat. Apparently, they're not able to regulate the speed. I think the temperature is a bit better upstairs. The food is your typical pub food. They have a late night menu which is great as they serve late. Depending on how busy the place is you might get service pretty fast or it might take little. I wish they would wait for a second after they drop your order at the table instead of instantly walking away in case you want to add something to your order.

Went to Woody's last night (hadn't been in a minute) and they had a great cover band! This is by far the best local bar for sports, music and bar food. Not your typical primp and proper Cary vibe. The decor is fantastic, the selection of food and drinks is fantastic, and it is so low key. The bartenders, servers and security staff are always cool.

We've been going to Woody's other locations for several years and never had any issues but this location is pretty terrible if I'm honest. First, the Philly egg rolls at other locations are *chefs kiss* and only available on a rotating basis so we were super excited to order them but here they were really gross and tasted off to us so we asked them to remove them or to just comp us in another way which would have been fine (we left 3/4 of them on the plate). What were were met with is a nasty "we aren't going to take them off.. it's what you ordered" and "I wish there was something we could do" courtesy of a server that I assume made up a Random alias "Taylor" when I asked for their name since she gave a confused glare when I asked for the person responsible... Very interesting. At this point, we gathered the other dozen wings we'd ordered and opted not to order the drinks, paid for our food and left because we're not going to argue over 13 dollars but wanted to warn you guys for sure..Not sure if they're racist or just have terrible customer service but I'd never recommend this place to anyone and if you do , be sure at the very least not to expect good service.

I read that they had great wings here. We finally went this last weekend and I am pleased! We got a burger, fries, and the garlic wings. I wish they were saucier, but I can't wait to try their other styles. The oil they fry them was SO clean! You can tell by the taste! The fries are amazing and we even liked the queso. I did not expect to! They are not breaded, thank goodness and I really was a fun lively atmosphere.This location even had some fun outdoor space and lawn games!!

You would think for people who run a restaurant it is common knowledge through trial and error of how to best package take out food. Seems pretty common sense not to add steaming hot grilled chicken to a chicken ceaser wrap so that the lettuce becomes soggy rather than fresh and crispy. Overcharging for meals and this is the product they serve. It's embarrassing. And now I have no dinner. Husband ordered wings and says they've not much flavor. And they threw the carrots and celery under the hot wings so those veggies also became soggy and not crisp as they should be as a side to wings

I just had the best Chicken Wings in my life at Woodys Sports Tavern in Cary. I must have driven by there 100k times. Quick to serve and the atmosphere was great. Big selection of food and beverage. Price was good.
