Wonder Wok

Im truly surprise this restaurant is still open, I have eaten there only out of desperation. I say this to only encourage you to not visit this place if you care about your Health and Wellbeing.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to give Wonder Wok a try after living close to this restaurant for years. We made an order to pick up online and the process was quick and easy. When my husband brought our food home, the portions were HUGE and the food was hot and freshly prepared. We got a large chicken soup, a large hot and sour soup, fried rice and tofu with mixed vegetables. The tofu was crispy and tasty. The soups were flavorful and piping hot. We were able to make like four meals out of all that food. We'll definitely be ordering take out from Wonder Wok again soon!

Avoid. I'm a big fan of American Chinese and this was the worst I've had in Atlanta by far. We ordered sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and Mongolian chicken. They were all terrible. Not to mention, the rice was old and flavorless. To say this place had no business at the time you would think they would have made the food fresh. Instead we got sauced up leftovers. I'm mad thinking about how much money I wasted.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The chicken was grey and undercooked. I still tried it a little and it gave me food poisoning. The fried rice wasn't even fried. The only edible thing was the fruit punch. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT RISK GETTING SICK. This place needs to be shut down.

We're always on the hunt for a good Chinese restaurant, so we thought we'd give wonder wok a try. The Crab Rangoon was good, if a little under filled. But our main courses (chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef) were pretty disappointing. I feel like you can tell a lot about a Chinese restaurant based on its chicken fried rice... and unfortunately this one just wasn't up to snuff. The hunt continues...

This was by far the worst Chinese food I ever had. Nothing had any flavor! How can you get Beef and Broccoli wrong? The Broccoli was so overcooked and the whole dish tasted watery I never had watery tasting beef before. The vegetable egg roll flavorless, just like the fried rice. The white rice and egg drop soup were just okay.

This spot never disappoints! I recently tried the chop suey ... delicious. I always get the fried tofu... this item isn't on the menu but my personal fav. Enjoy

The owner of this establishment made it very clear to me that what I received is the best representation of the quality that should be expected. She didn't care about my compliant, thought I was complaining to get free food. When I explained that I didn't want more of this garbage and that I was returning it, she hung up on me.I highly caution anyone ordering from here. This business is in our community but does not care about the quality of service they provide.

Hate to leave such a poor review considering the current times but it only seems right. Went in and ordered lunch and after getting in the car I noticed they gave me about 2tablespoons of sweet and sour sauce for my chicken combination plate. I went inside and waited about 8 minutes for someone to come back upfront for me to request more sauce. Then when I got home I realized I was giving a small portion of the platter and not the full size I paid for. This used to be my go to and I get it times are tough but taking advantage of guest intentionally and shortchanging them on food is rude and not right. If you wondering how I know I got a smaller portion it's because I went 3 days ago and ordered a combination platter which was noticeably more food and it's what I always order. Plus I still had the container in the recycling bin to compare sizes and I was right.

I got steamed dumplings, hot & sour soup, and spicy beef & garlic sauce. I'm extremely happy with my choices! It's a hole in the wall in the best way. I will be back!
