Owners itemization at my request. He belligerently demanded "tip for she cleaning table!" He pockets tips, not servers.

My family has been coming here for years. This is group dining with shared small plates and cart service. The thing I love most is the cart service, it's easy and quick. Food is ready and there. All of it is pretty visual. They do offer a menu too if you don't know what something is or haven't seen that cart. Pretty quick with refilling water and tea. Recently went there and their menu options have changed, they've cut a lot of things. My mom really wanted this butter roll that they took off the menu. Offer lots of different dishes and each one is a hit or miss. Tips: This isn't the place where you can ask a ton of questions. If you have any allergies please be careful cart service may not be the best experience. You can order things off the menu. The people pushing the carts can't really answer certain questions unless you speak their language. Best to go with someone who has dim sum dining experience.

I have no idea what the crunchy/sweet/spicy/citrussy piece of deliciousness was in my vegetarian banh mi was, but I will gladly eat more of them! The place is very clean, parking available-ish. Try them out. I'm planning to check out other menu items.Five stars for veggie banh mi!

Your traditional dim sum place. They had a cart when we got there early for lunch after they opened. Whatever they didn't have on the cart they made fresh in the back and we ordered off the menu. Everything was good, the meatballs were flavorful, chicken feet was cooked well, the tripe was good, the shiu mai was delicious! Good sizes too. The lady working might have been the owner and she was extremely friendly. Although the parking lot kind of sucks because it's shared with a market and other Asian eateries and businesses, I would visit again.

We had a rather unfortunate experience that ruined the meal and tainted my opinion on the restaurant. Halfway through our meal, I needed to use the restroom. When I opened the door to the woman's room and stepped in, my foot was immediately greeted by a splash. One of the toilets overflowed, making the bathroom completed flooded with an inch of water with either dirt or feces floating around. When I told our server, she seemed to not care at all. I then tried the men's room. Well, the drain must have clogged which caused flooding in there as well, so the only stall was also filled with dirty water! I was unable to use the restroom, even to wash my hands, and I stepped in the disgusting water. Needless to say, this ruined the entire experience and the staff did not seem to care. Food was just okay. Some was made to order, some was in carts. My favorite was the fried taro and pork dumpling. It tasted like thanksgiving! Pork buns lacked filling. Other dishes had little flavor. We went on a Monday, and it was not crowded. Our server seemed to avoid us after I complained about the toilets and we had to flag her down multiple times. Overall, it was way too expensive for regular dim sum, service was rough, and we had to go to another place after since I still had to pee. Would not return.

I swear this place probably sells poisoned or old food because EVERYONE IN OUR TABLE that ate there has diarrhea that's been going on for days. I don't know whether it's one of the people in our table that never washes his hands or the food, but do not go there unless you wanna lose hydration by having diarrhea often for the price of bland food. No wonder barely anyone comes here, because the food goes bad yet gives it to their customers. However, the server that served us was very nice actually. He was welcoming and I think he was the owner. Good service but bland food that will give you food poisoning. Don't recommend. Go somewhere else for Chinese food. They sell old or poisoned food that makes you SICK AND HAVE DIARRHEA.

So sad this place has only 3 stars! Not going to lie it made me alittle worried too when I went. It was a Monday morning so not a lot of carts were out but I wanted to get dim sum when I got off my plane that morning. I walk in and ordered some tea. I immediately get brought the dumpling cart. There I ordered a bunch of dumplings and buns that I liked.Within mins I was full from delicious dim sum. I do recommend parking a few streets over and walking over. The parking lot is small and has a ton of traffic. Shrimp crepes and shrimp crystal dumplings are my favorite. These were cooked to perfection! Def. Would love to come back here again.

Dim sum for breakfast? Dim sum for brunch? You better believe it.Wokano is one of my favorite places to get weekend morning dim sum. It's simple, comforting, affordable, and relaxing. It's everything I want in a first-meal of the day. If you go a little later in the day or the evening, it fills up quickly. But going in the morning ensures there's likely a table free for you to walk right in and grab. There's a very friendly man who walks around making sure you have water, I think he might be the manager or the owner. He's always happy to see returning customers and greets us warmly each time. When I go to most places to eat, I like to try something different each time. But I find myself always going for the same items at Wokano. But no matter what you get, make sure to at least get the sesame buns and egg custard buns, and a pot of tea. You can not go wrong with these as part of your order! It's filling, it's delicious, and it's easy on the wallet. I also love that when you sit down, you can eat relatively quickly: people are walking carts around the dining area with the food ready to go for you to select and enjoy. My only issue is that, unless you live nearby and can walk there, I recommend you take a cab or rideshare. The shopping center parking lot is mayhem. It's packed with a food market and other stores in a small condensed area, so navigating your car in that parking lot is an endurance challenge. Save yourself the trouble and enjoy an Uber or a walk. If you want a nice AM meal, or if you need to work off the hangover from last night, you will surely feel better after visiting Wokano!

I've been here several times over the years. In the beginning, there were some inconsistency issues, but it looks like they've largely been fixed. This place serves authentic dim sum with nice portion sizes that are priced competitively with Chinatown's dim sum places (but with free parking!). Among the must-try dishes are har gow (shrimp dumplings), seafood shu mai, bean curd rolls, and shrimp cheong fun. These dishes are around $5 each. There are other dishes that seem to be overpriced for what they are, such as the crab claw and thousand year egg porridge ($8.50 each). Sometimes they walk around with a couple of specialty items, such as salt and pepper calamari that cost more, but you never know how much exactly, so your bill quickly rises with all these extras. Stick with the $5 dishes and you can't go wrong.

My #3 choice when I want dim sum carts. Parking is always hard on the weekends, but at least its free. I've only been able to find parking inside the lot once out of my ~5 times here. I recommend street parking on weekends. This is your typical dim sum cart brunch spot, nothing to write home about.
