Where to start. Stumbled upon this gem when they opened many years ago. We started stopping by to taste wines from the dispenser cases and then learned about the Thursday night wine tastings which were a blast. COVID hit and shut it all down and while the Thursday night event never came back, we still love to go on Thursday's. We have fallen in love with some great and inexpensive wines (shout out to Carmita and Golden) as well as a few less cheap but amazing! We have loved getting to know all of the employees over the years. They really do feel like family. If you like wine, like to taste wine and like to meet fun people-- this is your place.

I was looking for a bottle of wine to take to a family dinner and stumbled on this place. From the pictures it looked way too hip and fancy for me but the reviews were good so I decided to try it out. I'm SO glad that I did because this is one of the best wine shops I've ever visited! We were immediately greeted when we walked in but were never pressured to make a decision or buy more- he was there to answer questions but otherwise let us slowly browse. We decided to get a taster card to try some wine out- it's a $1 fee and them can be loaded with at least $5. Most of the 1 Oz samples we got were 50¢ and it was great to sample before purchasing. The prices were great, the descriptions of all the wines were fun, and the atmosphere was superb! Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for unique wines.

I owed a friend big-time that lives by this store, and literally lives by this store as her go-to place for all things fermented. She also claims they have the best wine prices in the entire USA. Can't confirm that bold claim, but will take her word for it.She is known to enjoy a glass or 3 from time to time of the Quilt Cabernet, which she said they normally sell 2 bottles for around $50. I couldn't find it on their website so I called in directly to the store. An extremely friendly (it is the South for goodness sake) and helpful gentleman picked up and answered a few questions, and made great recommendations. BTW, the reason I couldn't find that particular vino was they were out of stock when I called earlier today.I settled on a couple of great Napa Cabs, and Chris promised to set them aside for my wino friend. So, if you live in the area or if needing to ship to some lucky soul, this is a great place to keep in mind.

The Winestore. is my favorite wine store. Why? Local owners who care about their customers. Incredible selection, but not overwhelming. Lots of unique producers and varietals from around the world. And a core focus on value forward wines (not going to spend more than you should here). Their daily sales emails are great, as is the online ordering platform. What's not to like!

I have to totally agree with Rose's review. She nailed it with how wonderful this place is for wine-lovers. And I have to add that it is also so for non-wine lovers (i.e. Husband who not only managed to enjoy his time with me here, but even brought home wine that he wanted himself!).Note to owner Husband and Wife...you sure know what you're doing and you have done well to plan for what makes different folks happy. The wine that was done in Pappy barrels...uh, it went home with us for sure for Husband! As did a few (cough) others for me. Wente chardonnay on sale, just sayin'.Especially loved how easy and affordable it is to buy a card and taste so many wines. Just ten bucks enabled both of us to be more than satisfied with our tastings. This is a wine store for everyone! From the novice who wants to learn and try (uh, me) to the experienced wine-expert...you are so covered here!

I can't say enough good about the Winestore's location in Morrisville. A company that started in Charlotte, NC, I can see Winestore becoming a favorite shop for many. As I walked through the doors, I was immediately draw to the inviting and bright space. Beautifully displayed bottled grace every wall yet the space is open and has plenty of natural lighting. The two staff members greeted us immediately and asked if we'd been to the location before. When we answered no, the staff member helping us quickly and concisely explained the concept, wine organization and let us know that not only is the average bottle of wine at the store $12, but they have tasting cards you can purchase and a table of wines that are the least expensive at this location compared to anywhere else in the US. As I looked around further, I was very impressed by the information each bottle is given; easy to understand pictures display the color, body and flavor of the wine and there's even a section for pairings listed. They also have several clever displays to pick up the perfect wine for your mood: whether it's post breakup or the makeup, a ladies night or a bottle for the boss, 3-4 wines are recommended for each situation. There is also a section of the store for tastings. With purchase of a card, patrons can get taste samples priced from $.75-$2.25 (depending on ounces). As someone who enjoys wine, but doesn't have an extensive wine knowledge, Winestore seems like the perfect spot to discover more of what I love, without breaking the bank. Not only is the atmosphere inviting but the employees are very helpful but not overbearing. They also have a free tasting every Thursday from 6-8pm, something I will be sure to attend in the future. So if you're looking for that perfect bottle of wine, a great spot to take a date, or just to test your wine tastebuds, I definitely recommend Winestore. They also have a wonderfully laid out website that is easy to navigate and are very up-to-date with their facebook page.

Ridiculous it's taken me this long to review. Perhaps I've secretly been coveing this little gem? Seriously it's that great and equally cool. I always look forward to visiting, and always walk out with some great wines, most of which I tasted first! Chris and Nick are both so helpful and knowledgeable, helping take the mystery out of wine buying. My friends think I spend a lot of money on my wines, but honestly I just make fewer mistakes shopping at Winestore.

I haven't had a chance to enjoy a tasting or buy a tasting card yet. But I have ordered wine online, and the selection and website was great. I received emails from Winestore, and decided to order online and pick up in the store. The service was topnotch too, Chris had my order ready to go. The process was seamless, the prices were fantastic and I love the idea of supporting a local business! I found a new place to purchase my wine!

My new favorite store! Employees are warm and friendly. They are knowledgeable and able to help you find what you're looking for in your price range. Bottles are beautifully displayed and the store's emails are so engaging, I find myself in their store shortly after an email blast goes out about a wine sale happening in the store. I love everything about this business!
