Willy's Mexicana Grill

The food was excellent on Howell Mill Rd. Store #16. I will definitely go back. The atmosphere was great the store was clean and the service was great.

The Chipotle style restaurants seem to just be popping up everywhere these days, and Willy's Mexicana Grill is Atlanta's own version. With multiple locations in and around Atlanta, Willy's offers bowls, tacos, burritos and more, just like their national chain counterparts. This location here is my local Willy's and I've had good experiences here. I'm a sucker for burrito bowls and I always know what I'm getting at Willy's - a bowl with rice, pinto beans, chicken, pico, lettuce, cheese and a little sour cream. Their meals come with chips and some salsa from their salsa bar. In terms of flavor, the bowl combination works out, due to the ingredients. The vegetables in particular taste fresh and the adobe chicken gives the bowl some needed heat. I've tried both the adobe chicken and the Sinoloa chicken and would definitely recommend the adobe chicken. I think the Sinoloa chicken is meant to be mild, but really comes off as bland and gets lost in the bowl. The flavor of the food is good, but I think Chipotle does it just a bit better, specifically with regards to the meat and rice. The value on the other hand rocks. The bowl is super cheap, less than 11 bucks. It comes with chips and salsa and the bowl itself is pretty filling. Comparing to other places, Willy's is just slightly worse compared to Moe's when it comes to the "bang for your buck". Moe's explicitly states that they allow you to add guacamole complementary to the bowl and their bowls are bigger in my opinion. Plus they give more chips. However, Willy's isn't much further behind in that category. Overall, with some hint of Chipotle and a dash of Moe's, Willy's comes together to give you both the good flavor and good value that you look for in a quick Tex-Mex stop. Service here is always quick and efficient, which is great! I just wish they knew what light sour cream was though, they are not shy with it!

This was so bland. By the time I got home with it (literally - a three minute drive up the street) it looked like it had been sitting in a warming plate for hours. The one I used to live near would load cheese on the nachos and then melt it in the oven. I couldn't tell if it was on. There's another restaurant about 3 miles away that doesn't heat them either, so I wonder if this was a company wide change. I hate that because it made the nachos delicious.I gave this 3 stars because the staff was very friendly. Eat there again? If they change things back; then yeah. As is? No.

I love willys, I usually get the tacos and they all come with chips & salsa. They forgot my salsa though Good location, plenty of parking and places to sit. There's no outdoor seating here.

I go to the Sandy Springs location specifically Muzziq , she always makes sure everything is right & fresh , the customer service is top tier & she's so sweet and friendly ! Love it here !

On google, it says that the store closes at 9 pm. I walked in the store at 8:30 and the manager on shift yelled they were closed. However they weren't? Won't be coming back!

I used to be a regular customer here (years ago before I moved away for college). The customer service/customer care is completely non-existent. I came here a few months ago and a lady was touching her phone before trying to out her hands on my burrito. I canceled my order and went home to cook.

Reminds me of my favorite taco place Fuzzys in Dallas. Top notch burritos and guacamole. Highly recommend. Baja Burrito the bomb.

GM Adam was very nice and helpful. Great service from entire staff. They opened the doors early to get me out of the heat.

The food was great as always but the service was awful. They were rude and extremely unwelcoming. The inside was dirty as well. I would not recommend this establishment.
