I'm not a huge fan of modern American cuisine, but I was really pleasantly shocked by the quality and taste of the food at wilder. I had their beet salad, lemon clam pizza, and malfadine penne crab meat pasta. All three dishes were amazing. They were so flavorful and the seafood dishes tasted very fresh. The portion sizes are not the biggest, but they do not skimp on the crab meat for the pasta. The vibes and service of the restaurant was also very cozy and romantic. I heard they also have an amazing brunch and happy hour so I am planning on going to those in the near future! I also think they change their menu seasonally with some permanent signature dishes, so I am excited to go back and try their new menu items.

Such a fun spot to go to with a group! Must haves are their oysters - literally will have you licking the shell after. The breadcrumb bake on top is highly addictive. Other highlights include the pull apart rolls (which were actually given to us complimentary due to a high wait time - which we didn't complain about!) and their sweet and spicy pizza.

A very cute and popular new restaurant in the city with indoor and outdoor seating, plus two floors! I love the vibes inside and the decor with the animal prints, plants and a ton of natural lighting. Aesthetically pleasing restaurant!Service was okay. We were originally seated at a table with a waitress who was truly unfriendly. We were directly behind the AC vent and were a bit cold so we asked to move tables. Once we moved, we had a different waiter who was much nicer and professional! Everything we ordered was delicious, but nothing blew us away or stood out. We ordered oysters, beets and burrata, paccheri ragu, grilled branzino and broccolini aglio e olio. Oysters were amazing and I would highly recommend ordering it! The ragu was rich and had a delicious base that wasn't too tomato heavy like most ragu. Loved the pasta noodles and again the actual meat was addicting and tender. The branzino was beautifully presented and very citrusy. Light meal that won't make you feel too heavy afterwards.I'd return to give brunch a try next time!

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. We split the paccheri ragu and the sweet & spicy pepperoni pizza (both were delicious). This was some of the best pizza I've had in Philly. It tasted similar to hot honey with the sweet and savory flavors. Highly recommend! The ragu pasta dish was also incredible! The meat that came with it was so tender and flavorful. It melts in your mouth and actually came with a good amount of meat compared to most ragu dishes! Our waiter was very attentive and provided great recommendations on the menu. I was also impressed that he split our shared food evenly in a to-go box, so my friend and I didn't have to decide who would keep the leftovers. It was very thoughtful! It's a beautiful hip and trendy restaurant and attracts a nice sheek and chic crowd. We absolutely loved this place -- decor, staff, drinks, and food. 10/10. Would come back in a heartbeat. It's ideal for family outings, gatherings with friends, or intimate romantic evenings. Thank you, Wilder, for an unforgettable dining experience!

Great ambiance and service for date night, but the food just didn't blow me away. We ordered the pull apart rolls, calamari, rigatoni, and Calabrian chicken. We ordered the blueberry crostata for dessert. Everything was enjoyable, but not necessarily special. Overall, very glad I tried it, but won't be rushing back.

We came here on a Saturday for a quick bite to eat and were able to be seated immediately. The drinks were quite nice although nothing to write home about. They're unique in flavor, but I don't think I would get drinks here again as I didn't find anything special about them. The food was quite good and I enjoyed my dishes about halfway until the saltiness got to me and I had to stop. My friends also thought the same thing about their dishes. However, the overall experience was quite nice and service was amazing! Would we come back? Probably not, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give wilder a try!

I've been here several times but previous only for happy hours -- first time eating dinner here!so good. The place itself rocks -- from the outside to the inside -- appreciate the cohesive design. Rugs, jewels, lighting, logo, outfits, etc.Nothing absurdly novel to me but everything was delightful and would actually order every item again. That must be a record. The real highlights for me was Spring Fever Pizza rocked (I've had like all the pizza in the city), spinach chitarra, and grilled branzino. All three of those items are very cohesive and tasty.

I hate to be the minority here but I was totally disappointed by the drinks and the desserts. Ambiance is cool, I really liked the 5 different chandeliers and moroccan rug on the walls. For drinks, we got Skinny spicy no salt and Role call - both were so bad. Their desserts are the size of a main course. Think American portion sizes. The bomboloni, though fluffy and soft, is nothing exceptional. The pics don't do justice but they are just 5 big donut holes with powdered sugar and some blobs of peanut butter. The warm sticky toffee pudding is really good but only with the brown butter rum ice cream - which to be fair is equally delicious and the combination is bomb! After the ice cream is gone, it is just way too sweet and heavy for 1 person to finish. Also, who in their right mind wants to eat that much sugar or calories in one meal? Dessert should be something that you enjoy after dinner, not something that should make you feel sick.

Bar and restaurant near Rittenhouse Square. Some interesting food here. Calabrian hot chicken--it's described as a half chicken, though it's not bone-in, it's basically two large cutlets that are breaded. Lots of Calabrian (southern Italian) spices. Fairly hot, maybe 4000 SHU?The cocktail was strong.
