Wild Ginger is my go-to Thai takeout spot in Dunwoody. Whether it's the Thai spice I am craving to clear my sinuses or provide comfort on a rainy day, Wild Ginger is a consistent contender on DoorDash for me. I usually pick up to save on delivery charges and their "drive thru" pick up window is super convenient. They are almost always done with my meal before the predicted time and the food is always hot, spicy and fresh. My go-to orders are the spicy basil fried rice or the pad kee mao - you can adjust the spice level but be warned that it can get SUPER spicy, no matter your tolerance level for spice. I usually go with "Hot" and even for me, that is sometimes a little painful. I recently tried the Panang curry and the "hot" was spicy but also balanced by the coconut milk. I was surprised that the mango sticky rice delivered well, especially in the winter. I would say that the warm sticky rice was much better than the out of season mango. But everything tastes better with a drizzle (or pool) of condensed milk!Rainy weather forecast for the rest of the week... calls for another takeout order for Wild Ginger!

A small parking lot so just be aware. You may have to do a little maneuvering around the parking lot so just keep that in mind. There might be parking out back for you so just don't be upset if you don't have a chance to park up front.They have a bar but it may not be a big enough bars you would think but it's enough to pick from.They have a full enough bar, So I don't want to make it seem that they only have three bottles of alcohol lol. They have plenty of alcohol. I didn't go to the bar but I did talk to the bartender and he was super nice. They have a TV in there but it's not a sports bar setup so don't expect to be able to watch a game with a bunch of people there.It's very nice on the inside and is very clean. I can really appreciate cleanliness and a restaurant, this place was very well kept so that was a big plus.I got sat immediately in the lady who assisted me was working the front and the floor and she was super nice. She took the time they explain the menu to me amongst all the other people who were there so I thought that was really nice of her. Drunken noodle - I thought this was a really good dish. It had the noodles had a good salsa had protein had everything you needed. I would actually consider getting it again!Pot sticker (You can get it steamed or fried) - I thought that these were good. They came out a little too hard to me, but this was not the end of the world as far as me going there are not going there.Thai curry roll - The Thai curry roll had the same situation that the potstickers did as far as how hard and well done it was, but, the flavor of the roll was really good. This was a really good fine. It's not too big so you may actually miss it if you don't know where you're going, but either way, the food and the service was very good to me. If both of the apps were not as ... well done... I would have no issue giving this a 5. It could have been an off day so I will definitely try again!

I highly recommend Wild Ginger Thai Cuisine. My experience stems from a to-go order, during which I received exceptional service and high-quality food. Upon my arrival at 10 p.m., close to the establishment's 10:30 p.m. closing time on a Friday night, I was greeted by a courteous gentleman who assisted me with my order. He patiently guided me through the menu as I made my selections.Ultimately, I opted for the shrimp pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and pineapple fried rice. Additionally, I indulged in the ginger tea, which proved to be a delightful complement to the cool evening.Although I did not dine in, I can attest that this restaurant is conveniently located right off the highway. The interior exudes a quaint and intimate ambiance. If you're seeking a dining experience with delicious food, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

Was excited to try a new thai place! We visited for lunch over weekend and suprisingly it was empty (they had few pick up orders). A lot of seating area inside and pretty decent ambiance. We got the basil stir fry with chicken and brown sauce (veg). Both came with Jasmin rice on the side. Unfortunately the chicken was rubbery and not pleasant. The food was 'OK'. Friendly service and the food came out quick! The prices are not bad at all for the quantity. Restautant has its own parking. Right next to a gas station!

I love ordering from Wild Ginger! The food is always delicious and made so efficiently. Very well packaged so that nothing spills. They also have a drive thru for you to pick up your food which makes it very convenient if you are in a hurry.

Definitely gonna be a feature go to place for me! First time here and the selection was overwhelming! I would not if expected something that's good in this location! I ordered the Pad See Ewe and my friend that I came with chose the spicy eggplant! Both were very delicious! Generous portion and even though you pretty much serve yourself they brought it to our table!You go up to the counter and place your order and then after your meal you go up to the counter to pay your bill. Everything is served with plastic ware. But I didn't mind because the food was delicious!

Every time I come in town I visit Wild Ginger. The food is always fresh and the staff is kind. I typically order on the Yelp app but the team always finishes the order before the suggested time. I like the option of the drive thru window for pick up order, convenience is key. Now that I moved to another area I'm mad that it took me two years after living close to this restaurant to try it out. Nonetheless you will not be disappointed everything is great!
