A wonderful scene, great dancing music, cool crowd, super friendly staff, and super fun events. There wasn't a lot of option for drinks, but whatever you get will be STRONG.

I was there for Goth Night 9/30! The dance floor was the place to be and the DJs killed it. Everyone was having fun and enjoying it. Batman was there. The line for drinks wasn't too bad for the crowd and how many bartenders there were. My rum and coke tasted generous. And later when I ordered just a soda they let me have it which was kind. I didn't use the restroom there but the line didn't look like it ever got too long. Parking in the area isn't ideal but there's plenty of space if you're willing to walk a little bit.The real candles were cool but not safe or necessary, especially the ones around the dance floor. I found myself a bit on guard because of it. All in all, would definitely return for another Goth Night. :)

Amazing ambiance. Super friendly staff. Awesome events. Okay enough with the buzz words. I came here for Goth Night over the weekend after a bunch of my friends kept insisting. Word of caution: hydrate throughout. The bartenders are not at all stingy about their pours. The punch was good but maybe a little too much sour mix for my taste. Honestly in general, their sour mix has a very grapefruit vibe that I wasn't expecting in my tequila-gone-rum sunrise. That's just a matter of taste though. Otherwise, the punch ...packs a punch. It's very strong. Which is not at all a bad thing. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and attentive all night, managing to keep the lines for drinks under a minute no matter how packed the place got. The bouncer was an absolute delight, dropping one-liners that had me cackling every time I went out to smoke. Even the DJ was really personable. It was an amazing place to be able to reconnect with all my friends again now that the world's opening back up, and I made some new ones too. It's definitely worth the drive for me, and on a nerdish note, I love that their entire bar counter is sealed with different styles of tarot cards. It honestly looked closed and unassuming from the outside, just to be let into this wonderland that found and stuck to their aesthetic. I absolutely loved it.

Irresponsible placement of a burning candle caused my veil and dress to catch fire in the lounge at the masquerade event. I asked to speak to a manager about this serious issue at the bar, and was told "it's the owner's birthday," before the charmer of an owner acted condescending and dismissive at me for daring to complain. All I really wanted to hear was a sincere apology, and the removal of the candle from the seating area so it wouldn't ruin anyone else's night. What I got in return was a "wicked" double down, "Yeah, we have *real* candles here!" Look, I don't care if a place has real candles. My point was that maybe it's not a good idea to have a (frankly-unnoticeable) black candle two inches away from a seat during an event whereby the establishment encouraged people to dress in masks, synthetics, cloaks, and gowns. In a bar area. In a venue that is not lit well. I was being nice to other patrons by moving over a seat so there'd be room for them to sit, and got literally burned for it because of the owner's idea that this is ~aesthetic~It could have been worse, and then what would this owner have done? All that said, when I asked if there's anything the owner could do he shook his head and told me no. After begging, I had my two drinks refunded because I had to go home due to the hole in my expensive dress (nevermind the $20 ticket I paid to set foot in the venue). Yet the owner couldn't even execute this request without being agitated and throwing his hand in my direction like I was some unreasonable customer stereotype (which is hilarious because I've worked in customer service for years and I know I wasn't being bad as most others would have been in this scenario).I would have cried if I hadn't been so disgusted by his behavior.Maybe this establishment and its owner feels that it can treat their patrons this way because there's no competition for alternative scenes in this area. Perhaps this is the reason why when I tried to reach out, I discovered the phone number they list on their website is deactivated. Why the email listed on their website is invalid. Why they don't respond to messages on this facebook page even though they had someone update under 24 hours ago.And why they pretend to have zero accountability for things they are liable for.By the by:No, the venue isn't really impressive and it's kinda small & scuzzy inside (just like the owner). The drink prices are reasonable. The service is meh. It's difficult to find parking during events. But you might find a DJ booked here with alt music that you like if you can tolerate everything else, including the part where management sees you as a number. I'd never recommend this place in good faith.

I won't put my money in any business that forces you to show your COVID vaccination card just to enter the club. And I'm sure they used their powers to get my review to their dump taken off Google Reviews for saying the same thing, on Google, about their COVID card policy.
