Whitley Vineyards

I have been lucky to have visited over 100 wineries since my retirement 2 1/2 years ago. Whitley wins for the rudest staff of any business I have visited in over two years.

Not pet friendly! As soon as we walked in with our tiny fur baby a staff member looked at my boyfriend and I said no and pointed outside in rude manner!

Love visiting this family owned winery/tasting room. Not only are the wines great, the ambiance and service are impeccable. Such a nice place to gather for a date night or evening out with friends. They do have live music I believe mainly on Thursday and Friday evenings. You can even pickup some great gift items while you enjoy their wine. The whole family has lived in the area for years and are extremely accommodating, friendly and giving back to the community

If I am ever out in Montgomery again this will be the place I go to. The wine is good and the people are super friendly. I happened to be here on a Thursday evening and it was open mic night. Relaxing music and friendly people. They even have a selection of card and dice games you can play. My husband and I played a game of Farkle, I won ;) I may even make the over an hour drive just to visit this little gem again.

This is a nice place to chill out after work in Montgomery, except on Mondays. They have also expanded their weekend hours. The wines are excellent, and they have some non-alcoholic drinks, too. I've been here before, and I recommend the sampler menu, where you can choose 3 out of 6 wines to try.We had the cheese and crackers and grapes snack plate, which went very well with the wine. They are planning to expand the menu.
