Whitehall Icehouse & Cafe

We've only eaten their breakfast but the food is awesome. The service is great and the restaurant is always clean. They also have farm fresh eggs as well!

My family went to Mr. Cox property for wild flowers and found this cafe close by. Everything we ordered was surprisingly tasty: coconut shrimp, mushroom steak burger, chicken caesar salad wrap. My 2 year old boy shared food with us and loved it. Their desserts looked delicious as well but we were too full to try. The waitresses were very nice and thoughtful. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

Well worth the 15 min detour from the main hwy! We were on our way home from a hiking trip with our two dogs and they welcomed us in and we ate some of the best burgers we have ever had! Go try them out! The Donut burger was awesome too!

2.18.23 My hubby and I decided to venture around our new area and try Whitehall Icehouse. A friend recommended their breakfast but we were slow moving and missed breakfast and made it for lunch. I ordered a hamburger and coleslaw and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries. My burger was incredible. The bun was so fresh and the meat had a great flavor. Oh, and the coleslaw was super tasty. I ate a few of my hubby's fries and they were very good. Not greasy! The portion size was enough for 2 people. His Cuban sandwich was made with thin ham instead of thick. He said it was good but not what he was expecting. (He would not order it again) Now, let's talk about the snickerdoodle cookie I bought. O M Goodness it was the B E S T snickerdoodle I have every had! My hubby agreed!! I wish we would have bought more, but it was good that I didn't. I would have ate all of them! There desserts change every week and they serve breakfast only on the weekends. Also they were having karaoke later that evening. This place looks so fun. It was super clean and inviting. This might be one of my new favorite places. I have to tell you the area where Whitehall is located is absolutely beautiful. One of the sweet girls working there said the bluebonnets cover the fields around there. Also, the Whitehall community center is just up the road and has all kinds of events. There is a car show coming up. This is a MUST stop!!!

Amazing place to eat and enjoy the mom and pop feel. Food is delicious and service is top notch. Great food and staff. Will definitely come back!

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We mainly enjoy breakfast in a regular occuasion.

There was no crowd, we came on Chicken Fried Steak night. The owner was friendly and even corresponded to me after the fact. It was delicious. Chicken Fried Steak can be really fabulous or terrible. This was amazingly good and we are pretty picky!We enjoyed it and will support this place. We meet our grandson in College Station for dinner often. Can't wait to try some of the other stuff!

Wow...what a find! Discovered this gem of a joint on Yelp today so stopped by. A very country looking spot and when I entered the only other people there were leaving I sauntered up to the counter and was greeted with a friendly smile. Without looking over the menu I asked can I get a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a Lone Star. I took a table and just enjoyed the funky old rock music playing at a perfect level. He brought out my mid day lunch and it looked and smelled wonderful...and it was! The fries are fresh cut and perfectly cooked...a large portion too. The burger was one of the best I've ever had...almost better than Lankford Grocery...and that's my favorite but it now has competition for sure. Fries here are better than Lankford the bacon was thick and perfectly cooked as was the cheddar topped meat. The bun was toasted very nicely...just the way I like it. The beer was nice and cold. A great experience all the way around. It's well worth the drive from Houston and it's a trip I'll make again soon. They had a lot of scratch made desserts to offer that while very tempting I had to pass...I was stuffed. Make the trip, you won't be sorry!

The hidden gem of southern College Station/Navasota area. Wednesday early dinner (6pm ish), split an amazing Bacon Cheeseburger and fries, two cold beers. Out the door less than 21 dollars. Met the owner (and our chef for the night), very friendly and laid back. If you live in southern College Station, Navasota, or anywhere near, give the Whitehall a shot! I can't wait to try their Chicken Fried Steak on our next trip! Try it once. We were thrilled to find this gem.!

Food is great! Their burgers and club sandwiches are delicious. Make sure you try their cookies as well!
