Whiskey Girl

This was an okay place for a slightly older guy like me. I say that because it was very loud and kinda crowded for a Thursday. That said the staff was very friendly but a little slow getting to me and others, but, they were quite busy. This is one of the seemingly few places open late in the, my opinion, ruined gas lamp district. I had the french dip sliders and they were actually quite good. I also had a few beers. They have a fair selection but could be colder.

Five of us stopped at Whiskey Girl while on a little day drinkinig adventure. We sat at a 5-top that was plenty large enough to comfortably accommodate us all.Claire with the gorgeous red hair and dazzling eyes was our server and she was great. She was efficient and attentive and was great with drink recommendations.Becky and I stayed with our usual beer and seltzers. Draft Modelo for me, not her favorite, but Bex went with the watermelon White Claw. I can't remember everyone's drinks of choice. I do know that one of our companions had the Spicy Aqua Fresca ( Jalapeño Cucumber tequila/ Cucumber Syrup/ Soda/Sprite Press shaken with cucumber and jalapeño...with a Tajin Rim) She liked it enough to order a second one!Prices were as expected for a Saturday afternoon in the Gaslamp. Service from Claire was great. It was a good time at Whiskey Girl.

I was there during ComicCon. So it was busy and crazy, but the everyone that was working was awesome. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I got the chicken tacos and was very happy with my choice.

We got the caprese flatbread and the buffalo skillet fries. The flatbread was our least favorite and something i could have made at home. The fries were honestly delicious though! So it's a very dark restaurant giving a speakeasy vibe, but overall didn't stand out. It was super busy bc there was fight that night,but the service was overall good. I happened to knock over my drink and that gave me a new one on the house and were very kind about it. It is in downtown san diego so the prices were a bit harsh for as simple of food that we got i'd say.

Great service, food and drinks! Friendly staff and add all the sports playing. The environment and music was great for a Saturday afternoon

We only stopped in for drinks before a concert at Petco Park - and had a great time! The bar looks out to 5th ave which is fun for people watching. Strong drinks and fast service. Dive bar style, good music, beer pong and jenga set up to play. Very close to petco park.

Food was ok nothing special. Service was a bit slow . Glad that there is lots of TVs to watch sports

Karaoke, DJ has his friends/entourage sing 1/2 the songs. Total waste of time. Seriously, one of the worst places you can go in San Diego for Karaoke.
