I first tried the location they have going towards Galveston, so I was super excited when I discovered a location was opening in The Woodlands. I went there for lunch one day and truly enjoyed the service and food. I love the decor as well. If you're able to save some space (or get it to go), definitely try the whiskey cake dessert!

I'll admit, I visited Whiskey Cake about three years ago and was NOT impressed. I was reluctant to go back but my bestie insisted and I'm glad she did. They have changed so much since my first and only visit. The food options have evolved and everything was cooked to perfection and freshly made once ordered. Service was great for a busy weeknight. Will definitely keep Whiskey Cake in my restaurant rotation wheel. :)

I have visited this location several times in the past couple of years and they have been pretty consistent with their service - our waiter Nate was super helpful and very courteous. His level of service was very appreciated during our visit. Food was good - the appetizers were great and the Cake...well that didn't disappoint. Love the bar area - wish I had it (the wall) at home.

We had such a great experience here! The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing!! We had deviled eggs, the noodle salad, pork sliders, a chicken sandwich and the whiskey cake dessert. The noodle salad surprised me with how good it was! The Deviled eggs and whiskey cake were my favorites!! I would like to try the whole menu if I could!! Definitely coming back next time in the area.

THE SERVICE IS NEXT LEVEL!!!! In summary, this will absolutely be a place that I will be overjoyed to stop at. If you want a date night, if you want to just get a drink, if you are feeling fancy or feeling relaxed, I promise you this place is fantastic.Atmosphere - The atmosphere is dim lit, leather, bit industrial wood and metal. I honestly never gave this place the time of day. I am in this area frequently and from the outside. It didn't really necessarily impress me at all. But when I stepped in I was like wow this place is great. I truly believe that anyone would be happy coming here regarding the atmosphere. There is a bakery on site there is basically a speak easy type of bar. I mean seriously this place is impressive.Parking - Parking is a shared parking lot, and generally it can get full. But I've never seen it where people had the circle and didn't find a spot.Food - My husband had a Burger and I had the chicken. We both had a cocktail and mine was specifically tailored for my dietary needs. This is the first time that I've ever had a server take the time and figure out a drink that I could actually drink. That wasn't going to be boring.. It sounds silly, but to be able to have a cocktail. When you haven't been able to have 1 in 6 months is fantastic. Basically I can't have any simple syrup or sugars. Additionally the chef Made something on the fly to accommodate my restrictions using a sugar substitute on another dish. I would never expect this from anywhere unless it was a super high end restaurant. They also have a tremendous whiskey selection.Holy c***, though my husband hates any kind of nuts and he died with the whiskey bottom cake, it is literally heaven.. I don't care if you don't like nuts. Or you don't like carmel, you must try this.Service- our server was Justin W and as I mentioned, I was SO impressed with him by really taking the time to find something that worked with my diet. Honestly, he really took it upon himself to problem solve with me. He knew the menu really well and actually guided me into other options, which I appreciated so much. I've never had such good service. Value- We spent about ninety dollars for dinner and drinks and desserts. I truly feel this place is a phenomenal value for all the things mentioned above. You will not be disappointed.

This place was wonderful. A mix between southern & elegant. Me & my boyfriend were very nervous from looking at the pictures but we went with a comfortable choice and they were so so good. He got the Pork Rib with mac n cheese. It was definitely an elevated rib style meal - very tender and not your typical bbq ribs. I got the pasta - Ive had this before at other places and Whiskey Cake did not disappoint!Because it was our first time we got attention non stop, manager & staff asking if we were ok. We also got a free appetizer from our waiter having an extra order! Very thoughtful of him to wow us.Highly recommend!

We went in the door... there was an entire wall (not a small one either) covered in whiskey!) after going to a rather UNPLEASANT PLACE right down the street from there who had whiskey on Yheir wall, we got scared and almost left! But we had said MANY times before "Let's try that place sometime!" And today we put our fear away and tried it! Oh My God! The best meal in a while! We are still talking about it! We each got a Flight of whiskey. We got the Texas Flight. It had 4 little shots of Texas whiskey to try. Not bad! Then on to the meal. The waitress, I don't remember her name but she was super helpful with questions and was there before we needed things like a mind reader! A+. The food...He got The Chicken and it was Excellent! No complaints there. I got the Pork Chop and let me tell you...it was so tender you could cut it with a spoon and the flavor was Grade A! The succotash was really good. I could have taken a quart home but I didn't ask... I'll do that next time. They have a Shepherd Pie that I wanted to try but it was Vegetarian! That's too bad...wish they had a beef option in that one! Brandon the manager was super nice and stopped by to see if we needed anything since it was our first time there. Great customer service. Felt like we were at home (Only BETTER!) So...Please Treat Yourself! Try this place out. You won't be disappointed. Not sure what the few complaints are on here, but some people just like to cry about everything their mommy doesn't do for them! Yeah...the gimmes! But this place is SUPER! I wouldn't say it is if it wasn't!
