I love coming here Sundays to come see Gen!! She always takes such good care of me and is the sweetest! The bar is clean, nice and would recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Cleaner restrooms than Bucees. Service is beyond fantastic. Such a great neighborhood find! First time here and we already know we will be back.

Apparently they're moving locations at the end of October to a new spot a mile away. We love this little neighborhood bar and grill. Friendly crowd, wonderful bar staff, and good prices. This is where you want to go to relax and enjoy a drink. Food is basic bar fare but all very good- and super cheap. Hoping the new location keeps the same great staff and bar regulars because this place is a gem.

I love this place. My wife and I live all the way in Spring now but still drive down every few weeks for darts and drinks. The service is always great, Robin is our favorite. Mr. C the owner has always been a great host.This is a very traditional bar - no gimmicks. They have great beers on rotation, a nice stock of liquor, darts and sports on all the TVs. They also coordinate bus trips to Astros games and The Ren Fest. It is also one of the best maintained and clean places in the Westchase area.

Great bar, chill environment and an attentive owner who's often behind the bar, Westchase Tavern should be your west side of Houston go-to bar!

Perfectly fine stop with some bar food and a good 11-7pm happy hour. I wasn't able to learn what exactly the happy hour meant, but I know my Saint Arnold Christmas Ale was $5 on tap. The food is a bit pricey with the fries appetizer being a bit small.

Decided to finally stop in. 8:30PM on a Sunday and they are always open and always open until 2AM!Gen was welcoming from the start and made it a point to learn our names. The taps included Guinness and Stella Artois, along with Galveston Island, Karbach, Back Pew, St A, and Eureka Heights.On the Tele, I was able to watch the NBA Houston Rockets defeat the San Antonio Spurs, XFL Houston Roughnecks beat the San Antonio Brahmas, the OL-RB Combine, and The Family Feud!It was great to finally stop in and meet some neighbors. If you haven't yet, stop by and hang out!

.Followed the review and decided to give this bar a try. Clean and they have darts and top golf so I was encouraged. Came in and got my drink right away. Made a comment about how few people buy iPas, got a blank stare. Two people in the bar, sometimes only me. Still had to wave and jump up and down to get a menu order food. A refill was a struggle also, as was getting a bill. . Read the other reviews , guess that must have been when the owner was around. . Next time maybe I can pour my own beer

Took my folks here during Christmas holiday. It's small , but was a pretty good atmosphere, when we went they only had a few regulars in there , so it was pretty quiet. We were served quickly (which I would argue is a big deal as my folks can be pretty high maintenance) they put the cowboys game on for my dad so they get brownie points for that . They serve bar food but it's just premade snacks , that being said they tasted good and the place was very reasonable. We enjoyed ourselves.

My name is Andre. Today I have been banned from the Westchase Tavern. I guess for life. Their reasons from prohibiting me from stepping in their facility were legit I had an open tab of 5$ from couple days earlier and I paid what I owed today. I question the motivations and would like to say this to the OWNER : You've insulted me, I quote, " THANK YOU FOR STANDING FOR ME WHEN THIS WOMAN SAID I WAS RACIST, BULLSHIT DUDE YOU'RE A FUCKING COWARD" when I walked out of your infrastructure. Two weeks ago, the woman I've met at your bar was drunk, and we were involved in Public Display of Affection at your counter. You felt uncomfortable, your guests felt uncomfortable, again a fair concern you've made known to us, but when she started to rant about it insinuating it was racially motivated, I did stand for you and repeated several times it wasn't case. But she was inebriated and even when we were outside I did adjudicated in your favor. I have been a client of your bar for a couple months and I never received bias treatment from your employees. The cursing at me just to prove your point was completely unnecessary. I enjoyed frequenting your tavern. Thanks
