Westbury Restaurant

Only person in the restaurant on a Monday morning 8am (1st clue) . Not once did the 2 waitresses ask if I was ok, was the food ok, did I need anything. Omelette was dry and overcooked. The place is just not doing what a good restaurant does. Maybe they should call in some help. As of now, this place is to be avoided. Been a customer there for years but the last owner was abusive to the staff but at least he insisted on customer service. Sad really.

I just love places like this! It's like going to a diner in New York. Good, familiar food cooked well, and very affordable. The owner was there and he was super friendly. Our waitress was very nice as well.

A simple place to have a affordable good breakfast. I've been hearing good reviews about this place and I decided to go with my husband and my daughter. I ordered the Westbury breakfast which consists of three eggs any style any three sausages, home fries and wheat toast. All for about $7 and some change. My husband ordered 2-2-2 a very similar dish with pancakes which were nice and fluffy. My daughter ordered a vegetarian omelet. It looked a little overcooked but said it was on the plain side. Coffee was surprisingly good... Don't expect Starbucks but it is a good cup of coffee on a standard level. This is the place to have a quick meal. I wouldn't mind trying out something for lunch. So far I can tell that everybody comes here for breakfast so I think it's worth checking out.This place only takes cash. If you get it, there is an ATM machine In the restaurant. It's a simple family casual restaurant and it was clean as well.

Absolutely loved this place! The portions were great and the prices were even better. Their coffee was exactly what I needed to get through the workday, so, I'm very glad I was able to triple down on the free refills! Our waitress was incredibly friendly to my colleague and I. She made sure we enjoyed our dining experience to the fullest extent. Cant wait to go back and bring my family next time!

My husband and I live up the road and really enjoy the simplicity of the menu, good prices, quick! Can tell it's family owned and happy to support local businesses. The owners have been there every time I've gone and speak so passionately while multilingual. They would check in on us asking about the food while kind and considerate.

Avoid. Went here once & saw the owner get abusive with the staff. Against my better judgment, I went back today and saw the owner get abusive with a customer. He was in this woman's face yelling, and when she said she was never going there again, he did one of those macho "What did you say?" things and ran up on her again. When she repeated herself, he yelled, "I don't need you! I got plenty of customers!"Well, he's got one less customer now. If I want mediocre food served by people with anger issues, I've got plenty of relatives' houses I can go to.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to go back to the Westbury.I hadn't gone there since the last visit I wrote about.Well boy am I glad I did. I noticed the new coffee cups and new menu and had a suspicion it was under new management. Then my food came and I was positive. Easily the best meal I ever got in that building.And more importantly was the change in atmosphere. No yelling, the waitress seemed more relaxed than on any other visit thereWell they've got a new owner and new cook. I'll be back!

Great food and homie dinner feel. Throw back, large portions, had the ranch eggs which was amazing, very nice staff, no wait, food came out quick. Great little breakfast spot!

Under new management! I've gone in for breakfast twice now and the waitress immediately recognized me. It's a solid, friendly, diner. Tasty pancakes, crispy bacon, and good prices.
