Great meal here! We shared a deep-dish pizza with some friends, as well as a meatball sandwich, and a beef sandwich just like we saw on my favorite show, The Bear. (I don't see the beef sandwich on the online menu, so it may have been a special.). My husband, who hails from Chicago (and everywhere else) told me that we don't add cheese to an authentic Italian Beef Sandwich, even though my motto is that cheese makes everything better. I don't want to do anything that might disappoint Jeremy Allen White, so I followed the rules. ("Yes Chef!") Even without added cheese, everything was delicious. And filling. I wanted to eat more but just couldn't. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. There were plenty of TVs showing sports, as well as pinball machines. My husband confirmed that the food was sufficiently authentic and spent some time talking about north versus southside, Cubs or White Sox? The discussion was lost on me but the pizza was not.

Ordered the original deep dish 9" pie and it was delicious. The pie was loaded and could easily serve 2-3 people. The pizza sauce was fresh and not too acidic, the sausage, pepperoni, and cheese were high quality, and the crust was buttery with a crunch. It was a hearty meal. To my surprise, the pizza didn't taste oily and leftovers heated up really well in the oven. It takes about 40 minutes for the deep dish pizza to be ready, so keep that in mind when ordering. The inside of the restaurant is casual and inviting and good for groups.

Excellent Chicago style pizza and I've been to Giordanos and Gino's East. The sauce was good, toppings excellent and it completely reminded me of being in Chicago

The pizza is really excellent - my hopes were high and I was nervous it wouldn't be as good as the reviews I'd read but it absolutely was. We had the original and the treehugher (as well as a Cesar salad and cheese bread). I personally preferred the original but both tasted great. Don't forget the cheese bread - it's a different crust and so so good. Dine in is very casual and great for kids (or not). The arcade games are fun so don't forget to bring your quarters.

My best friend is from Chicago and her birthday being last week we were craving an Italian Beef. The ambiance was fine but the beef was not it. I don't want to compare anything to Portillo's but the Italian beef was completely flavorless and the sweet peppers and beef tasted like they were boiled in the same pot without any seasoning. The thin crust pizza was good if you're just looking for that. The service was fine until it was 8pm and then it was a different story. They close at 9 but they should probably advertise their hours as 8 for closing based on the experience we had. The employees all made it very clear verbally and non verbally that they expected to be walking out the door at 9pm as well. We had been enjoying ourselves and were splitting a pitcher amongst the table and at 815 tried to order a last pitcher and an Italian beef To Go. At 815 the kitchen was "closed" and they gave us a hard time about drinks at 815 too. They still gave us drinks but the entire 45 minutes until closing that we were socializing and finishing our beers at a normal and not sluggish pace, they turned up the music and aggressively cleaned tables "loudly" and then turned off the music and made several comments that just made us feel really unwelcome as customers. We were very clear we would be gone by 9 when we order the beer at 815 and stayed true to it but the employees made it super apparent they did not want us there. We've got no issues with that if they just list their hours as closing at 8. If you're coming for pizza do it, don't come for beefs and don't come before 8pm and expect the "nice".

My buddy Dave and I headed here for the beef sandwich after being tortured by The Bear, and, as an afterthought, decided to go for a mushroom and pepperoni deep dish, even though neither of us like Chicago-style deep dish pizza. The sandwich, which we split as an appetizer, was fine. Maybe needs more peppers to get the real Chicago taste. Then the pizza came, and, deeply (dish) skeptical, we started in on it. Then we started swearing in delighted astonishment. The crust was a thing of absolute perfection; a perfect, buttery thing which crunched a bit but had a lovely crumb. The cheese was satisfyingly gooey and rich, and the sauce was nicely tart and acidic, and above all not ketchupy sweet. We couldn't believe how good it was. Couldn't stop marveling, and congratulating ourselves for ordering it. My leftover slice reheated nicely in a cast iron skillet with a lid (I used tongs to hold the side of the crust against the hot iron), and I thought about the damn pizza almost daily for two weeks until I could get back there with my food snob friend. The second go was a grade A rather than the borderline transcendental A++ experience I had the first time, but an A is an A! No idea if it was a particular cook or the accidental addition of onions to our pizza, but a mere A rating shouldn't stop anyone. I'm dragging a third friend back ASAP.

Finally got a chance to try out this highly recommended Chicago style pizza place in West Seattle. I have lived in Chicago and have eaten Giordanos countless times and can say West of Chicago pizza company does a very good job of getting a taste of mid-west pizza here in PNW. We ordered The Original and the sausage, pepperoni and above all their sauce was delicious. Their ingredients taste really fresh. They take 40 mins to have your pizza ready for pickup and it is worth the wait. If you create an account on their website, you get 10% off your first online order. I am not a huge deep dish pizza fan but Giordanos & West of Chicago pizza company certainly do a great job of getting me hooked on to this style of pizza. All in all, we loved our chicago style pizza for dinner and had plenty of leftovers too. Highly recommend.

Eating here saved me $1500 in flights and a hotel stay by not having to go all the way to Chicago for a REAL Authentic Deep Dish Pizza! I was just about to purchase my ticket when I thought "hey, let me double check to make sure that no one in Seattle makes authentic deep dish pizzas", and sure enough this place popped up as the ONLY place around that makes actual Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizzas and it was THE BEST PIZZA I've had anywhere in Seattle.Keep this business open or you will have to travel all the way to Chicago.

I drove by this place, and what caught my attention was the name West of Chicago Pizza Company. As a Chicago native, I said there is no way let me look at the photos first before I consider trying the pizza. I went on the website and saw the menu and what caught my attention was the deep dish pizza! That is exactly how it is supposed to look so I had to go in and try it. I ordered the largest deep dish, pizza, pepperoni and mushroom and oh my goodness I literally could not believe it. It was the best pizza I have ever had on the West Coast of the United States. I lived in California tried every single pizza place out there and it was absolutely horrible, I tried a few in Washington, and it was not good until I found this place. I was almost too impressed. I couldn't believe it. I kept saying to myself and asking the owner. Where did you learn this? How did you make this? someone had to of taught you this!! He told me nobody taught me this. He taught himself the recipe. this is exactly how it is supposed to be, and it is worth every penny I will 100% be going back and will order my weekly pizza there. They even have goose Island on draft! Please disregard any bad reviews. This restaurant definitely lives up to its name and is the only pizza restaurant I will be going to in Seattle. I told the owner he has a recipe of gold, and he needs to keep it a secret. The power of that recipe needs to be a forever secret they have some serious serious potential.! !! This is the pizza that you pay for and I will not even consider another pizza place in Seattle. This is the only one that you need to know about plain and simple. I give this place 10 stars if I could.! -Chicago style approved!

Have been literally CRAVING tavern style thin crust pizza for months, that I don't have to make myself, and thanks to a 2 year old Reddit post, I have finally found EXACTLY what I was craving! Too many places worry about recreating deep dish...forget that, I can ship it in! Thank you, West of Chicago Pizza Company, for delivering the exact taste of home I've been craving since I left the city 8 years ago. Hands down reminded me of Italian Fiesta and my old pub Stocks & Blondes all in one bite! Now the rest...when you enter, you'll order at the counter and get a number before you find your own table and grab your plates and silverware but the Jones fountain (sadly no cream soda but there is orange cream!) The counter guys are super friendly and Goose Island is on tap if you're ready for a beer - next time I will be, hadn't eaten yet and needed PIZZA! You'll notice the carefully placed Chicago Bears memorabilia and Second City alumni portraits mixed in with the tvs pinball machines. If you've ever been in any bar in the Chicago loop, you'll feel at home! It's got that classic Chicago pub feel minus the dark & sticky floor with that old beer smell edited out. Serious bonus points for the music, too!Admittedly, I should have warned my husband when I saw the perfect pools in his half of the pepperoni BUT the grease of the pizza was perfect! Now, for some people, this may be a bad thing, but for me, if you wouldn't be able to see through the carryout bag, the pizza would be trash. If you are one who gets meat coughs after IKEA meatballs, you might want to dab your pizza with some napkins first. Otherwise, you'll be fine! This is how the tavern/pub pizza is supposed to be! Last but not least, perfect caramelization on the "well done" order and great cheese pull! We shall be returning from Lynnwood as often as traffic allows! Thank you again for delivering this South Sider [of Chicago] a taste of home!
