I give this place 3.5/5, and had a hard time deciding whether to round down to 3 or round up to 4. Ultimately, because vegan sushi places are so rare, and because the workers (owners?) seemed so vested, I'll round up to 4.My partner and I were traveling for a week in Denver, and met friends for dinner here. We've had vegan sushi in LA and Seattle, and Wellness unfortunately just doesn't measure up flavor-wise.The big problem is that, to my taste buds, all the rolls just taste too similar. I couldn't pick up the individual flavor notes in the various rolls we tried. I think the problem is that too much sauce is used, which drowns out some of the more delicate flavors.I will give credit for the unique onigiri. We did the classic -- spam and tamago. Can't say it was something I would order again, but I'm glad I tried it just to say I've had one. This is a fast casual kind of place, where you order at the counter, take a number, and then the food is brought out to you -- but with a twist. You order at a kiosk. I preferred this over placing the order with an order taker, since it's easier to go through all the options on the screen. There is only one kiosk, though, and I question how long the line would be when the place is busy.Food was brought out a tad slower than I was expecting, but within a reasonable amount of time. The place is not overly large. When we were heading over Google was saying that it was "busier than usual," and I was nervous we weren't going to be able to get a seat (and this was on a Wednesday evening!). However, our friends were running late, so we ended up not meeting them until closer to 7, and the place was only about half-full at that time. Would I go back? I would; it's good. Would I make it a point to go back? No, I wouldn't; it's not great.

I googled random sushi places in the area prior to visiting the museum and found this. I didn't realize it was a vegan sushi place until we arrived. It was very interesting. We ordered the Tokyo drift roll, sea breeze onigiri, and shitake mushroom stuffed tofu at the kiosk machine and input a table number, then tray was delivered to us. Everything was good, the shitake mushroom stuffed tofu was my favorite, tasted like one of my mom's dish. Although this is a "fast food" vibe; the food was healthy and gave us the satisfaction of not being bloated afterwards. Definitely recommends to everyone!

Stopped by for a quick grab and go dinner on Friday and really enjoyed! The rolls were flavorful, simple, and not lacking. It was a good dinner and the ingredients tasted fresh. I don't know if anything made any of the rolls INCREDIBLE compared to other vegan sushi that I've had, yet I still enjoyed grabbing some food here! Went in on a Friday evening and it was pretty packed. Casual ambiance but still a nice sit down place :)

Wellness Sushi has been on my top list so long, and beyond happy that I finally got to visit it is extremely casual with an extensive all-vegan menu. I wanted to try as much as possible, so we got a seaweed salad, gyoza, a sushi roll (Tokyo drift roll), teriyaki beef onigiri, and the tamago natto oshi. It was so much food and so delicious. My favorite was the roll, but you can't go wrong with anything. You order at a kiosk and it all comes out pretty fast. Would love to go back to try more!

I love love love this place. I am not even a vegan eater but this place just hits the spot so I keep coming back! I love that it's so close to me. My go to takeout spot when I'm craving sushi. You can't even tell it's vegan. I LOVE the Oshi dishes & the hot flamingo roll.

As a sushi lover turned vegan, I have been searching for a sushi spot that has more than just your standard cucumber avocado or sweet potato roll. Wellness Sushi really hits the spot, and you would never know the rolls don't have real fish! The flavors in each curated sushi roll are to die for, and make it easy to be a vegan. While the rolls are a bit on the expensive side, they are a masterpiece of both beauty and flavor and make you crave just one more piece. I drive from the suburbs of Denver just to pick up sushi here, and it's truly worth the drive. Only comments are the service, which could use some work as the employees weren't very friendly or attentive to the front which makes me wait a while until I can get someone's attention to grab my order. The restaurant is in a great area, and the vibes are adorable. My suggestions - the Royal Potato roll, Ebi Tempura roll, and Krunchy Krab roll. Each roll is a can't miss, and I already crave coming back for more!

I've had vegan sushi in LA and Hawaii and this is the fastest set I've ever had! The gluten free ramen noodles were delicious and the vegan sushi is so flavorful that my meat eating spouse was fully satisfied. I want the eel sauce on everything I eat! The beef donburi was my spouses favorite dish and the charred "meat" smelled amazing!! We ordered this through delivery and it held up fantastically. The only thing is that I would appreciate better gluten free labeling- I usually turn to vegan or inclusive restaurants like this to be allergy friendly but labeling is really important!

So I'm not vegan but I have been trying some of Yelp's Top 100 list if I end up visiting a certain city on my normal travels.I stopped in and ordered an Ebi Tempura Roll to go. OH. MY. I feel like I could be vegan and just eat this - I'd be absolutely happy with that! I sometimes lean on the picky side of eating but this could have fooled me. Whatever they used as the "shrimp tempura" was great and I would definitely order it again. Staff were friendly and service was quick. I would say though, I ordered online and it gave me a pick up time but I got a text about 20 min sooner than that, saying it was ready but I wasn't planning until arriving just before the ETA. I just get a little cautious of my food waiting so long so that was a little off putting. Other than that, would probably return on my next Denver trip!

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to order carry-out and I was surprised to find it totally empty. The ambiance is bright and fresh, and the service is counter-style. The workers were patient and friendly as I waffled between options on their extensive menu. I ended up ordering W's Spicy Tonkatsu and 2 rolls--the Fiery Philly and Love in the Edo. The ramen wasn't very spicy but it was flavorful and delicious. I also loved the rolls, especially Love in the Edo, that teriyaki beef is so savory and chewy. My only complaint is that some of the mango on the Fiery Philly was kinda grey and mushy--not very fresh. But the roll itself was tasty! I'm psyched whenever I can eat vegan Japanese food that's this creative and delicious. I'm just bummed I didn't get to try the onigiri or dessert. Guess I'll just have to come back!
