You know when the cake lady herself say that was a "baaaaad" cake, you know exactly what she meant and my husband and I don't even like cake. But, no need to prolong the review because the images are proof that our wedding cake was indeed "BAD". Baby Ms. Tammy did her big one and she was so pleasant to work with. Keep her on rotation.

Miss Tammy was absolutely amazing. She was hospitable from the beginning. My sister, which is the bride to be, and mother enjoyed it all. We came for a cake tasting for my sister's wedding and she pulled out all the varieties. The sampling consisted of different types of cake, different types of fillings, and the Icing that will be around the cake. When I tell you everything tasted so good? I mean everything tasted so good! It was even hard to make a decision. But you have so many different choices as to how you want to pair your cake with the filling. I will have to say that butter butter pecan was amazing, our absolute favorite ! That is a filling that she provides; and then the cakes were so perfectly moist... I'm not even a cake person and I was so impressed! If you know my review, I have a problem with sometimes taking pictures of the product prior to eating it. It was so delicious. I couldn't even take any pictures, I wish I did. Lol!Her shop was very nice, and clean. She had a variety of wedding designs, as well as her accolades everywhere. She was very professional and not to mention very personable. She was so educated on what she does and aims to please. You can tell that she takes her craft serious. I mean, she said she's been in the business for over 30 years, and it showed!We truly enjoyed our visit, and cannot wait to see the finished results in a few months. Thank you again Miss Tammy for working and being patient with us today! If you're looking for someone to make your special day so special with a cake or cake, she is the go to person! Look no further!

I first found out about Tammy Allen's cakes through a caterer and I found her at a Bridal Expo. When I tasted her Texas Melon for the first time, omg I had to have it at my wedding! The other flavor I chose was cinnamon grand marnier. Both delicious flavors! Tammy is very sweet and kind. She accommodated us twice due to COVID! Highly recommend

Glad that some of you actually had a better experience. My review is long overdue but I'm going to mention my experience anyway. Contacted Ms Allen's business to inquire about a cake for a baby shower. Made an appointment, my mom and I drove maybe a good 45 -50 min out and Ms Allen is not there. While inside we are greeted by workers who were completing some work inside the facility. One of the individuals called her while I was there. She asked if I could do a FaceTime. Literally rolling my eyes at this point cause I had an appt and had driven some distance...and I'm pregnant. Plus I wanted to discuss in person and try to explain what my idea would be 1 on 1. Anyway so I agreed. Days later upon communicating Ms Allen offered to ship to me some cake samples for me to try. Guess what??? It's been 4 years now and I still never received the samples! LOLDuring that time I made 2 more attempts at contacting the business asking about the samples and letting Ms Allen know that I never received them before giving up. Yeah that was definitely my sign to not waste anymore time or spend my money there. I guess cause my event was for a baby shower and not a wedding was why I received poor professionalism. Well that was her mistake and folks shouldn't be so quick to assume things with potential customers. All the cakes I order are wedding style cakes whether it's shower, birthday or holiday. No worries I've got the baker I've used now for these past 4 years for every event.

PLEASE READ THIS AND OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE CONSIDERING. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I wish I had read reviews beforehand. There have been others who received the wrong cake, experienced poor attitude and unprofessionalism, showed up to their tasting only to be told it wasn't booked when it was, etc. Your wedding planning experience with any vendor should be a pleasant one. Our first experience with Wedding Cakes by Tammy Allen was at the Bridal Extravaganza and we fell in love with the melon cake. We then went to their open house event which was described as a cake tasting but it was a mini bridal extravaganza with their select vendors, and the cake was hidden in the back and by request only. That should've been our first sign that their business was shady. I spoke with Tammy Allen herself at the event and informed her of my intention of using a fake display cake and buying sheet cakes, expressed interest for a dessert bar with them, and asked her how to proceed. She replied that the next step would be to book an appointment for a tasting through their website. I booked it, paid the deposit, and received a confirmation email. The subject for which stated, "Thanks for Booking your Tasting & Consultation!" and the heading read, "You're booked! Hi, Your appointment is all set." We arrived approximately 15 minutes early to our appointment. The doors were locked and the man who answered seemed confused as to why we where there. He was polite. He brought us in and gave us water. Then we sat for 22 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Tammy Allen greeted us at 1:37p and immediately accused us of not booking the appointment. She implied that we were confused, even though we showed her the confirmation email that clearly stated we were booked for that time and date. Tammy then deflected all accountability and stated her online portal did not email her regarding this and because she didn't receive an email, it didn't happen, regardless of the fact that the deposit had been withdrawn from my account and I had an email confirming it was booked. She then said the email is not a confirmation of my booking even though "You're booked!" was written verbatim and it had details of my paid deposit. My fiancé and I are very understanding, have worked in the service industry for many years, could understand the error on their part, and were willing to move forward at the time. However, Tammy Allen never apologized, she refused to accept any accountability, and was instead needlessly accusatory and offensive. She then stated she would not make sheet cakes for us if we opted to get a fake display cake. I recounted my previous conversation with her when I had informed her of my intentions and was told to proceed by booking the consult/tasting. I would have considered obtaining a fake decorative display cake from her, but the overwhelming LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM and LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY was more than my fiancé or I could stomach, so we left. She had taken our deposit, wasted our time, and blamed us for the error on their part regarding the appointment. We DO NOT RECOMMEND her to anyone who values their time and hard earned money. I should have read reviews before booking the appointment. There is indeed an immense lack of communication and lack of respect from Tammy Allen and her team.UPDATE: The owner commented on this review on another platform, accused me of lying, and argued, "Secondly you where definitely greeted, seated, and given water." I clearly stated above that a polite man let us in, seated us, and gave us water. I am merely a former potential customer recounting my experience. After adding this update to the post, the owner removed that statement from her comment.

Mrs. Tammy Allen refused to service me after a disagreement about receiving a receipt post-deposit, and she made a RACIAL comment that was very disrespectful!On a Friday I put down a NON-REFUNDABLE $350 cash deposit on a wedding cake, and asked Tammy Allen for a receipt or proof of the deposit. She said "I'll email it"... So I trusted her and called that evening to remind her, no response. I called the following business days Tuesday and Wednesday...no answer. Now as a NEW customer, I'M NERVOUS! Because here we are 3months before my wedding and I'm just hoping I wasn't one of the ones who got scammed bc normally she answers my calls. So since I was in the area, I go up there to show her some toppers for my cake to see if it matched the ribbon she was providing and while I was there I asked Tammy for the receipt, she then asked me..."Why are you so fixed on this receipt?" I said "because I gave you a $350 cash deposit and I need to keep up with my wedding expenses." She said "well I don't give receipts, when your name comes up in rotation I'll create an invoice and send it via email." I told her "Oh, that was not conveyed at the moment of contract signing, cool". Again, I'm a First time customer.She then said.."the only people that give me problems are BLACK PEOPLE "..so that made me say "and this is why it's so hard to support black companies because of people like you that do things like this and say things like that". (We're both black)Then she told me that she have white people bringing her $11,000 and they don't ask for a receipt, I told her "First off, I don't care if they gave you a billion dollars! If I go up to Burger King and buy a $1 burger they're going to give me a receipt for that $1 burger." Secondly, "they have that rapport with you, I don't! I'm a new customer. How I know you wasn't going to take my money and run?So after almost 10mins of talking, she replies "That's fair" and finally gives me proof of my $350 deposit. But black woman to black woman, I politely expressed my offense to her "race" comment and told her "we're not enemies, I loved your cake so much at the bridal extravaganza that i told my fiancé you're doing our cake. But that comment hurt my feelings". She again mentioned what her white customers do and what her Hispanic workers say about her people and how it insults her bc how we treat our "own" businesses. I then told her "it's not about race, it's about how you conduct financial transactions with providing a receipt, it's the way of the world!" Tammy laughed & said "I had a point, apologized and came around the counter & gave me a hug and said "thank you for your feedback." I even told her I needed a hug because planning a wedding is overwhelming as it is!Long story short, she calls me back 2 days later and offered me a refund and said she don't feel comfortable providing me services because I said that I was going to tell my guests if they asked about her, I was going to tell them that she don't give receipts at the point of deposit, which is true, but she misconstrued WHY I said it... I was actually saying it to prevent her from having that experience again and so that they won't go with the expectation of receiving a receipt the same day, but according to her policy, they'll receive it in rotation via her system. Like, why would I say something stupid that would jeopardize me getting serviced? My intentions were good, but I stopped explaining what I meant and said "At this point, now I'm uncomfortable, so as long as I can get my refund back, cool! I choose integrity over anything!Her customer service is poor, unprofessional & utterly distasteful! (Pun intended)

We want to Thank Tammy for adding to our most Cherished Day with our awesome wedding cakes that were sooo moist and delicious. The wedding cake was displayed on a swing created by #Royalluxuryevents and the Grooms cake was a delicious sooo moist chocolate cake that was a 2D 1984 Champagne Color Eldorado Caddy with Swaggers! If you want an awesome wedding cake you better call Tammy Allen!!
