Service was amazing! Loved the atmosphere & decor. Dj was astounding &na great place for a first date & birthday even or to just hang out & drink. & the food was to die for.

To begin, if you are looking for the ultimate Miami restaurant vibes, Watr checks all the boxes! Watr is a must-visit restaurant for anyone visiting Miami. Located on the rooftop of the 1 Hotel South Beach, it boasts stunning panoramic views of the ocean and the, skyline making it perfect for a romantic date night or a special occasion. The ambiance is cozy, intimate, and upscale, with a menu that offers a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines that is sure to impress. Personally, my wife and I loved their sushi rolls and cocktails, which were both delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also exceptional, attentive, and warm, making me feel very welcomed.Overall, I highly recommend Watr for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with an unbeatable view.

The ambiance is absolutely gorgeous overlooking the ocean. However, having your meal and people are walking through restaurant in swimwear to get to the pool, which is right in front of the restaurant.I had the Tuna Tataki, Baby Gems salad and The Chocolate for dessert.Tuna Tataki was a very meager portion but tasty.The Baby gems salad was absolutely tantalizing to the palate. Well put together ingredients. The Chocolate wasn't too sweet and that yuzu cream sauce took it over the top! Yum.I gave the establishment three stars because if my waitress, Aneta. She never remembered to bring me my drink. And at one point, when she asked me if I was doing OK, before I got to answer, the man at the table next to me interrupted her and she didn't even get my response as to how I was doing. I wanted to tell her she forgot my drink. Then I asked for a dessert menu. I watched her walk around and serve other people and come back to the guest next to me and converse with them. She then looked at me and realized she forgot to get the menu. After bringing the menu, she left me for quite a bit of time the came back to ask what I wanted for dessert. There were other employees that stopped and asked if I was OK.

Another Miami establishment that relies on the location/ambience to carry their crappy food, not surprised. Super cool set up, great view but that's about it. Tourist trap. Service is trash and sushi is honestly disappointing. Anyone in these reviews saying the sushi is good is either 1.Mentally challenged or 2. Only consumes garbage.Went here with some friends staying at the 1 to grab lunch/use the pool. Not sure if our waitress Geanina was having a bad day or if she's just genuinely a terrible server and doesn't know how to do her job. Once we got seated she delivered our drinks and disappeared for 30 minutes, not even exaggerating. We had to wave down 2 other waiters and ask for her. When she came back, she said "you guys were looking for me? I brought you your drinks what else did you want?" In a rude tone as if her only responsibility was to serve us drinks. Not apologetic or professional whatsoever. This is the type of service you'd expect at jack in the box. Me and my friends were shocked and honestly didn't even know how to respond, it really killed the experience for us. We input our order and tried to brush off her horrible attitude but that was pretty much the nail in the coffin. Spicy edamame wasn't spicy, they threw some crunchy chili flakes on top of some dry edamame. No sauce just dry crunch flakes. Can't remember the name of the rolls, but the fish in two of them was fishy. Only roll that was semi decent was the shrimp tempura roll. Also, who's idea was it to use brown rice for the sushi?? Brown rice LOL. You know a sushi restaurant is terrible when they can't even make a good spicy tuna crispy rice. It was probably one of the worst I've had. Geanina couldn't even bring one of my friends her spicy mayo and eel sauce she had asked for on the side. Once the food arrived (after an hour) we had to wait an extra 15 minutes to try to find her again and get the sauces. She was inattentive to the max. The food is bad, service even worse. There are tons of good sushi spots in Miami, this place really needs to step up their game. If it weren't for it being located at the 1 I'm almost positive it would receive 0 business. 0/5 stars easily.

This rooftop restaurant is gorgeous with a great vibe. But it is completely outdoor so it can get really hot. Service is excellent too. The reason I am rating it a 3 star is due to the food. The problem is the food is not delicious. For such a classy venue, the taste of the food such be superior. We ordered: crispy rice tuna, comes with brown rice, nothing special; tuna tartare was prepared table side which made an impressive showing, see my video, but was tasteless; Tataki and Hamachi rolls were ok but they wouldn't supplement with soy paper, only kelp. This is a beautiful place to go and be seen, nice music. Just order drinks and take photos. We had a nice bottle of La Fete Rose. I have included the printout of our order for price reference.

The restaurant is quite charming, however, the food is pricey for its quality. I ended up paying $36 before tax just for a sandwich. If you happen to be a hotel guest, you can dine by the pool, but keep in mind, there is an obligatory 19% tip added to your bill.

Came here for my friends birthday, and I'm so obsessed with this rooftop restaurant!! It's beautiful and the vibes are good. We went on the later side so it wasn't too crowded and the sushi was delicious !! The bathroom area is super cool too and great for some mirror selfies. The views are great too!

Though this was one of the most beautiful hotels/restaurants I have been to, the food was just really bad especially for the ridiculous price. This was by far my most expensive dinner in Miami and did not live up to hype. The skyline view is also not visible unless you walk behind the bathroom. Service was decent. Unfortunately, the small portioned food all lacked flavor and tasted bland. Our bill was about $220. The drinks were strong and good though I'll give them that. We got the crab cakes, salmon sushi roll, and something else I forget all of which were not memorable for tasting good whatsoever. Save your money. Enjoy the space and a drink though.

OMG one of the BEST sushi rolls I've ever had. The Acevichado Maki Roll on the September Hispanic Heritage Month Special was impeccable. I could've ordered 10 rolls but I wanted to splurge on other things lol. I had the Sombra Rosa cocktail and the flavors were top tier. The vibe was nice and the food matched. Great date night place and the Hotel that it's in is beautiful.
