What happened to Walter's??? Used to love this place, and now its so different. I went in for breakfast, decent french toast although a bit too "eggy" for my taste. Service was quick, not too nice but quick. Ambiance was decent, don't like the high chairs and im scared to sit outside so close to the crazy street.EDIT: Want to say thank you to the owner for the response below and clarifying the new adjustments to the business. Best of luck, look forward to seeing more.

Solid breakfast. Generous portions. Food comes out pretty fast.Pretty decent menu. My favorites are Redneck Benedict (poached eggs over sausage gravy and biscuits) and the blueberry waffles.

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!! I never thought Walters could ever be better than when Walter the father and Mother ran it. But OMG these new owners are so loyal and creative. Let me start by telling you that some of Walter's employers stayed with the new Walter's. So the breakfast, which half of our party had was nostalgic and as delicious as always. NOW...... let's move over to the Vietnamese side. OMG!!!!!! This PHO IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The broth in this soup is soooooo delicious. The other half of our party ate from the Vietnamese side. One of the owners came by the table to make sure we were doing good, and he is so polite and attentive to the business. Our waitress Laura just couldn't do enough for us. The male servers who helped Laura always had a smile on their faces. The working dynamic seems to be a cohesive one which always alludes to a great working environment thus making the customers visit pleasant. The restaurant is clean, bright, and welcoming. I recommend The new Walter's wholeheartedly and hands-down, you will not go wrong here. If nostalgic is what you're looking for stick to the original Walters breakfast and lunch menu. If Pho is what you're looking for then your hearts content will be satisfied here. Thank you, Walter's for your service, your cleanliness, and your delicious meals. We will be back.

PHOKAHOLICBy far the best pho I've had by far, the waitress was amazing, food was fast and the portion sizing options were a perfect as many places only serve one size. Well worth what we paid and the shrimp rolls were amazing. Very large with plenty of seating and booths are always a plus as well. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious. Eggs poached perfectly. Hash was super crispy. Only complaint was home fries were not fresh. Next time might get grits. But the rest perfect. Service was good, except waitress forgot I ordered gravy. Ambiance was great. Might sit at counter next time, for more privacy. But, breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend. Make sure home fries are fresh.

I was a little iffy about coming to Walter's because of their mixed reviews but I came anyway and no regrets! Service was great, food was even better. I had their egg Benedict with a side of home fries and bacon. Also ordered 1 pancake. The egg Benedict's were delicious! I left NO crumbs. Home fries were seasoned well. Bacon was perfect. I was too full to eat the pancake but I will say....that was the biggest pancake I've ever seen. I'll definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

We came here a year ago, I wasn't impressed then, but my husband liked the pancakes (but not the grits or cheese eggs). Well, he was craving pancakes, so we decided to give it another try. He ended up getting an omelet, toast & cheesy grits (no pancakes!). He didn't care for the omelet, it had processed cheese slices on it, and it was too dense. I ordered the red neck benedict, which is sausage gravy & poached eggs on an english muffin, with potatoes. The waitress was very attentive & accommodating, she noticed that I wasn't eating my food & removed it from our bill. I just couldn't yall. The gravy taste like it came out of a can, the sausage taste freezer burnt, and the potatoes were exceptionally GREY and salty. I ended up grabbing food elsewhere. We left a nice tip for the waitress because she took good care of us, but we came for the food & it was another miss for me.

At Walter's Coffee Shop you can enjoy a hearty breakfast that tastes like a home-cooked meal! The environment is relaxed and everyone is friendly. The food portions are large (much more than other restaurants). OMG...the omelets are awesome. The fries will make you say "Wow" because they're so tender and flavorful! Check them out!
