It's Saturday, hours say 7a-9pHere it is 745, and the workers are outside waiting to get in.I tried this place a few years ago, the same thing. They didn't want to greet me or take my order. My friend has been wanting to try it, that's why I'm here, but now she's disappointed!

This is a nice local business spot needed for the area, but there is always room for improvement and it also depends on your personal taste buds. The waffle was a bit sweet for my liking and I like my chicken more on the crisper side. With that being said I would still recommend it if you are in the area. The food is cooked fresh when ordered so it is a tad on the slow side. Just an observation, I would recommend that all hair is tied up and the work cap is not sitting on top of a person's head while cooking.

Love the chicken and waffles here. It was very filling. And the complementary beignets are better than cafe du monde. Everything is freshly made so make sure you have time to eat. It's well worth the wait. We will be back. And I'm not one to write reviews, but had to give this restaurant 5 stars.

I would only order from here TO GO, and with more than enough time to get there because it seemed like no one's food was ready when they got there I found this place on a whim while visiting my cousin and wanted something similar to breakfast klub, or so I thought. We came in and sat down and was told we needed to order at the front. We were explained a few things by a NOLA woman who seemed like she was there just so she wouldn't be fined lol. We tried to order mimosas as it shows online, and on their board in store, but we were told they aren't serving them. The red velvet waffle was very fluidly but had too many chocolate chips on top, like it was decorated for a child. But 7/10The fried chicken wings looked like wings from off of the flinstones, they were HUGE. I could not eat them. Was too watery and wet in the middle but the skin has flavor and good crunch. 5/10The grits were DISGUSTING! 0/10 they had no flavor and were lumpy : I was so disappointed The bacon was bacon The scrambled eggs are more like eggs scrambled then folded The service was terrible but they were managing I suppose. I can't believe I had to keep getting up for each little entree or side, why not bring them to me on a tray? The woman taking orders kept confusing the woman cooking the orders. The woman cooking the orders was upset that people were mad about how long they've been waiting. But if she got off FaceTime and focused on the orders it might've been quicker They were messing up peoples orders and saying "well it's gonna be right today" ... it was actually comical because they had the gospel playing in the back in the midst of it all

Nice, friendly spot with AMAZING CHICKEN and the waffles... omg! The chicken was hot and fresh! We even had beignets to sample while we waited for our order. Now as a Louisiana native, I'm super bougie about beignets, but HONEY THESE WERE DELICIOUS! Somebody's grandma gave up her recipe and I thank her for it. I've been looking for a good chicken wing and waffle place, and this was it. I don't like chicken strips or any other boneless chicken with my waffles, and that has been hard to find. This is a small family-like ran restaurant with good, HOT, freshly cooked food. They did seem to be a little unorganized when trying to get the orders together correctly, but they did get it right and out to us pippin hot. Food is cooked as ordered, so don't expect it to be ready like fast food. The service is friendly, the food good, and definitely worth a visit.

So I walked into this establishment with my wife hungry as hell lol. It was empty so we thought that was good. We stood at the counter for almost 7 min. One employee was sitting down eating the other 2 was in the back seasoning chicken. Nobody greeted us or said give me a few seconds. Just looked at us and carried on. 3 seconds later the lady seasoning the chicken sneezed a nice wet one. No covering her mouth nothing. It was disgusting. After I seen that I said na I'm out. Upon walking out she then said "Can I help you" I said no thank you. I really like the food here but I will never be going back again. I was expecting more from a black owned one of a kind business in that area. Wish you guys nothing but the best.

My wife and I were driving out of town and happened to see the sign for this place on the freeway, and decided to try it.We shared a Fruity Pebbles waffle and four chicken tenders. In retrospect, I'd order the wings instead, but what we got was excellent! Also, we had a couple of beignets, and I can honestly say they were better than any I've had before, even at Cafe du Monde! The staff was friendly and helpful in suggesting what to order.We will be eating here again!

Food was actually delicious and well seasoned. Service on the other hand was very much less than satisfactory. My friends and I order was both completed incorrectly and when i explained and showed the false advertisement that is displayed on the website no apology was given and we were still instructed to pay for the food we ordered from the beginning but was never given. The establishment also had sticky tables and floors which gave the indication that the floors and tables aren't cleaned regularly. Again food was cooked well and tasted deliciously but the website needs to have a better representation of the food that you're actually ordering and it would've been nice for the staff to take accountability for not taking our order correctly.

The food is great however the service is bad. Additionally, the wait is long . I have been sitting here waiting for 1 1/2 hours for my food. This is my second time here and the second time I've experienced this. They are short of staff which may cause all of this. The food is very good though
