Waffle House

STEPH JUDGEMENT: We got what we came for.My second-ever Waffle House visit (the other was in Atlanta). We were very hungry after missing dinner and this was the most palatable option to us in the area (we weren't in the mood for straight-up fast food). I just got a waffle and cheese hash browns, and the hubby got a waffle and a scrambled eggs and hash browns plate. It was just what we were craving and we liked it fine. The interior is typical Waffle House, nothing out of the ordinary and reasonably clean (didn't get a chance to use the restroom so can't way what that was like). We did spy the TouchTunes jukebox, which I don't think I saw at their Atlanta location. I had some leftover credits I got at a bar in Long Beach and was able to spend them here, which was fun. Service was ok--we got to put in our orders and got our food in a timely fashion but when we got our bill there was some confusion about the amount--we were way undercharged. Our waitress had stepped out so we had to get another person to look at it and finally figured it out but it was a bit of a hassle. Overall, a satisfactory visit; if I'm ever in the area again and need to visit a Waffle House I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I was in the mood for steak & eggs!The steak was tough & not seasoned!The eggs were cooked to perfection!The grits were delicious!The orange juice now comes in a bottle for $3.50 for 11.5 oz!As always, the place was dirty, but the service was TOP TIER!

I've been to many Waffle Houses and this trip was great! Hash browns cooked to a perfect crisp. Over medium eggs were on point. I almost bothered the cook to thank him for this satisfying meal after a long day of work

I ate here this morning as I had some time to kill. I don't go here often as it is usually pretty busy. I decided to deviate from my usual choice, the All-Star, and try the grilled breakfast sandwich. You can get it with ham, sausage or bacon and it comes with pickle slices and hash browns. It was awesome! The bread was grilled just right, like the best grilled cheese sandwich which it kinda is except it also has a meat and a fried egg. I chose bacon this time around and it was better than expected. The whole sandwich exceeded my expectations. The hash browns were great as always. My server was very sweet and efficient, beautiful inside and out. I'm a people watcher so I just have to mention the couple next to me who ran their server ragged, changing their order, sending their stuff back for extras culminating with this rude comment, "I'm a person that includes presentation in the food and this ain't it". They seemed to be building a case for no tip. Anyway, I can't wait to have this sandwich again, the next time I catch them not busy.

I am visiting from California and this was the first destination stop we went to and let me tell you the food was amazing and very cheap for what it is! It is a great spot for a quick breakfast and also for a late food spot after drinking. The place may not seem so shabby on the outside but definitely the food is worth trying. Loved how fast they cook it and how good there food taste. The waffles are to die for

It's Waffle House where the workers are underpaid and overworked but service was nice and fast food was hot and tasty great place for a quick and easy breakfast..........

Great Waffle House experience. Staff welcomed us and sat us together even though we were a large party. Food was great and have not complaints. Restaurant was clean and employees were singing and enjoying their jobs.

Food: Why would I review Waffle House? Because it NEEDS to ALWAYS be highlighted! This restaurant is a staple in the South and deserves to be recognized! I LOVE their pecan waffles, and Texas Cheesesteak sandwiches, covered hashbrowns and sweet tea!The service is always good. I feel like they are my family. The ambiance...ehhh...I don't go in there for that. It doesn't bother me either way. I know what I'm getting with the food, so I'm always a fan!

Me, husband and two grandkids went in and sat down!! We were totally ignored by all the of the women working therewe sat there for over 5 mins and finally left !!!

Went in this location heard the lady with Green dreads that works there I believe she maybe a manager but very bad attitude . No greetings or welcoming environment. She was very blunt about being rude towards customer. I don't smell like a breakfast diner it smell like a bleach house while customers are trying to eat with the discomfort of smelling loud bleach while trying to eat . I don't recommend this place to eat. not unless you ready to drink your coffee with bleach while feeling Like u in the restroom .
