Waffle House - Cypress

I'm sad to say this was our first time at Waffle House but what a great experience! Yaketta took care of our family and was wonderful! I can truly say this staff is some of the hardest working people ever!

Food and service are good, as always. But why does it always have to be SO D*MNED COLD at Waffle House!?I mentioned it to my waitress, and she told me that the thermostat was in the ofice, and that corporate had recently put a lock box on it, so they can't adjust it.What's up with that!? Don't want the staff to be able to respond to customers' preferences and requests? Bad business, guys.

I stopped by twice this week and just found out yesterday B-Mat was fired defending herself. The food just isn't the same if she's not cooking. Now I'm forced to find a new lunch break spot.

We are repeat customers here. The food is what it is and affordable. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and it feels like having breakfast with your family. They have a good time, work well together and provide friendly service. Our server, Bri, provided service with a smile and Margaret is always pleasant. We were greeted when we arrived and finished up with a smile at the register. Keep it up guys.

I love Waffle House, so I am extremely disappointed to write this review at a 1 star. Monday at 10:30 pm I walked in and was immediately greeted. I sat down at the bar because all the booths were dirty, the server did not even think about wiping down the bar where I was sitting. Unfortunately I had to do it myself. I ordered a patty melt with no bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle with blueberries and pecans. The cook accidentally added bacon and instead of making a whole new patty melt decided to just take off the bacon and still serve it to me. (I don't eat pork, so this is a huge contamination issue, luckily I am deciding not to blow it up). The patty melt was overcooked and the bread was almost burnt, the hashbrowns were average. The waffle to my surprise was actually disgusting I believe they used blueberry syrup instead of real blueberries and way to much waffle batter. All this would have been easier to fathom had I received respectable service and the restaurant was at a bare minimum clean. My server disappeared and I had to ask to check out and when I did was told that "I needed to wait for my server to create the check." I asked for a manager of course there wasn't one on staff at the time. Who makes a customer wait to pay that's just crazy I should have left, but I am a respectable human. I paid, left a tip and kindly gave the server my review once she returned 20 minutes later. This was the worst Waffle House experience I have EVER had at ANY Waffle House, usually this location is pretty good. First time I've not finished my plate at a Waffle House

My family and I ate here this morning. The place was filthy. There were flies everywhere. They were all over the floor, tables, windowsills, and blinds. They were alive and dead. That would have been bad enough, but the floors had food all over them. It was awful. To top it all off, the waitress decided we would be interested in how horrible her day was. I like Waffle House, but not this one.

Our waiter named Moses was spectacular!In a world of dying customer service, this man gave me hope in humanity. Probably the most genuinely nice, helpful waiter that I have ever had. Even if I hated the food, I would come back because of him.

Cheap, easy, and friendly staff. You get what you give at some places. We were pretty nice to the staff here and they were nice in return. I'm sure not all waffle houses are nice, but we got what we came for here. Some waffles and bacon. Waffles were great! Bacon satisfied my cravings, but the hashbrows were kinda wack. Sure the food isnt spectacular, but at this process point, what do you expect? Thanks for the southern hospitality!

My daughter and I stopped by on 10/22/23 around 11:30 pm ... we walked in, there were 3 people working, all sitting on their phones .... Every table was dirty but 1 in the very back of the restaurant.... Red flag !!! But we were hungry. We were told to sit at the only clean table available and thrown 2 menus, red flag #2. We ordered drinks both drinks had 2 ice cubes in it, red flag #3. I know, I know, with 3 red flags already we should left... But we were hungry! The service was horrible, and we had to listen to whatever the waitress was listening to, which had *itch and *uck every other word. The hash browns were not edible, you could taste the old grease!! I honestly don't expect much from Waffle House, but I do expect respect for your job.... Come on Waffle House you can do better.

The service was amazing and Waffle House waffles never miss! Make sure to go when Moses is working!!!
