It was funny how I came across this place. I was looking for something different to eat with my husband and I looked up and saw a sign that said Vons Barbecue. I told him let's try it. It's behind the Wayfield in Downtown Lithonia. We walked in and this nice man gave us a breakdown on the whole menu and what their number one sellers are. He was so sweet and the owner even came to greet us. Everything was so good and well worth it. This is a must come back. His prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is family oriented.

Multiple visits....I've had the smoked wings, the pulled chicken and the brisket sub. Everything I ever ordered here was ok but the brisket sub was sensational, it literally is the best brisket I've had in Atlanta. Words cannot express how much I love that sandwich, the flavor is awesome. Service is excellent and plz try the homemade lemonade. Thank me later.

I had seen this place on a lot off reviews, but had never gotten there till today. Ordered chopped pork, ribs, potato,salad, fries,and beans. The ribs were outstanding. The bark on the ribs were perfect. Visually very pleasant. Outstanding smell. Came off the bone perfectly. Chopped pork was very good and plentiful. Sauce was mild and spicy, and served on the side so you make the bbq as wet as you wanted. All sides were good. The price is excellent for the quantity. I Expect to get 2 meals out of it. Small place that the owner seems very proud of. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for an authentic BBQ place, this would be it. We ordered a little bit of everything, Ribs, Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Collard Greens, Beans and dessert. Everything was delicious, the meats were flavorful, the mac n cheese was definitely home style, everything met our expectations. The place is very welcoming, price is fair. There might be a slight wait but it's very much worth it! We will definitely be returning.

Randomly found this place on my navigation searching for bbq restaurants. Great find! I had ribs 10/10 falling off the bone (could have been warmer) , potato salad 10/10 and Mac and cheese 8/10 could have had a tad bit more seasoning. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! The 2 guys that were working made sure we were good while we dined in!!

I'll NEVER Understand Why People Don't Make A Cheese Sauce For Mac And Cheese!!!...It Was Like Kraft Made By A Child...The Potato Salad Was Average At Best....The Best Part Of The Experience Was The Owner Is A Cool Guy

I visit this place today for the first time. I was looking for some down home barbeque and boy did I find it. The smoke drumetts was terrific. I will visit again.

I am an avid BARBQ specialist. This place kicks a**! I attended on a whim thinking nothing can top my own work, yet I was thoroughly surprised and enjoyed every bite!
