Wonderful , local wine shop and wine bar . Kelly leads a friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Grab a bottle to sip at the bar for the retail shop price. You'll find some gems here from their ever evolving curated wines. Charcuterie boards of cheeses, fruits, honey, cured meats and pates are available , but sell out fast soInquire ahead. You can also bring your own food, takeout from a restaurant, or grab something from the food trucks at Balieson. Watch for wine tastings, art events, wine classes etc. Stop by- you'll be glad you did!

Wow what a great place. The service and knowledge was outstanding. Enjoyed several recommendations on wine and tried new things. I will be back.

Unique as it is a wine bar, tasting room and retail wine store. Very nice bar area and large tables good for groups. They focus on select wine from most regions but heavy on France, Italy and USA. Also have some select beer. By select I mean the GM tastes and selects. The GM is very knowledgeable about wine, particularly Italian wines. They have a turntable and play albums which is cool and you don't see everyday.On our visit, enjoyed a tasting of Champs and white and rose that was very nice. Chill spot. Will be back.

I like this concept! I have drove past this place and always wanted to stop in. On a Saturday of retail therapy and self care I decided to stop here to check it out. We tasted 4 wines all which were great and off the beaten path and something you would not find at any grocery. They have a full glass of wine for 12 and 1/2 glass of wine for 6. I had 1.5 glasses and bought one of the bottles I tasted for only $21.00 to take home. I look forward to exploring more and coming back with a few friends to chop it up and have a few glasses of great wine.

Vinology is my favorite wine tasting place and it never disappoints! There are several flights to pick from, which change every week, or you can have a custom flight (usually 3 wines, half a glass each). Every staff member is incredibly knowledgeable and will tell you so much about every wine you're tasting. They're very education-based, so even if you know nothing about wine, they can teach you and help you find something you like! Prices for bottles are also very competitive, so this is a great place to pick something up.

Thanks to a Yelp search we stopped by on a Friday evening. I am I love with this place! Amazing service and really great wines. I mean good wines! We went in to enjoy a flight and a 1/2 glass (which is a great way to experience new wines without a full commitment) but ended up leaving with 3 bottles of wine!! I will definitely be back for some of their free classes and new flights.

What an experience!! The wine selection is hands down one of the best in Houston. However, what makes this place so unique, is the people. They are so personable and enjoyable to visit. Make sure to get on their list for their wine tastings and wine club. You won't be disappointed.

We had a happy hour celebration for a coworker at Vinology and everything was top-notch. The wine was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the space/shop is beautiful.
