Vinny's

I've come here twice and both times I haven't been disappointed. The first I tried 2 pizza slices & the second time I got a large pizza box. I also ordered the buffalo wings the second visit. The Pizza: It is really good and has good crust on it. Ingredients on the pizza are fresh. They reheat your pizza for you in the pizza furnace. You won't be disappointed with the pizza. The Wings: The buffalo wings had a good sauce to it. I asked for them to be fried extra crispy. Mine were soggy once adding the sauce hence why I wanted it fried extra crispy. They were still good but if you like wings to not be soggy make sure they fry them extra crispy. I'll ensure of that next time. I was so hungry that day it didn't matter. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Ambiance was relaxed and chill. Good for families and kids.

The pizza was mediocre in my opinion. We ordered carryout. It was my first time trying Vinny's. It's in a cool location in East Downtown. It's around a lot of bars and is very walkable. I did feel like the pricing was on the high side for pizza. A bottle of sprite was $5. I would come back but not anything to rant about

Four of us came in on a weekend night. Wasn't too busy. Got two pizzas, wings, and a sub.Pizzas - $5-$6/sliceSlices are large as they are cut into 6 but are from pizzas already made and then reheated. Pepperoni, unfortunately, had only 5-6 tiny pepperonis on it but the Happy Hippie was a better choice with more toppings. Both were OK but could definitely taste that they were just reheated old pizzas. At least they came out fast!Wings - 6 for $12Got the buffalo wings. They were OK wings, nothing special. Pretty big wings but still not quite $2 a piece sized.Big Baller - $12The sub was actually pretty good. It came out really hot, filled with cheese, sauce, and beef with great flavor. Unfortunately, it was a little small for the $12 pricing.The sub was the best thing but a bit pricy. The wings and pizza were just OK but pricy for what you get. Service was good but all in all, just an average pizza joint that's a tad expensive for what you get.

Yes, yes, yes, a million times YES!!! I came by Vinny's Pizza with friends and had best pizza I've had in long time. The pepperoni pizza and Garlic roll were both 10/10. The staff was friendly and I received my order quickly. Very happy with my visit and food and will definitely be back again!

They're trying to pass garlic knots off as pepperoni rolls. I brought what they gave me to the register to explain they gave me garlic bc there's no apparent pepperonis and they said it's sprinkled on top. What?! Can you spot the pepperonis? The blue cheese dressing is also water.

I will admit that I am spoiled with pizza. Having been in NYC and being Italian my standards are on the higher side for my pizza expectations. The crust in my opinion in crummy and reminds me of cardboard. If you eat in the waiters and workers are super nice and helpful. It is a casual environment to relax and chill for lunch. There are many types of pizzas to choose from but to be honest I would rather have Dominos then come back here. Until the quality gets better, I will not be coming here on my own accord.

Great pizza varieties -available by the the slice. Customer service was amazing! I had the happy hippie and the senor something ( chorizo, jalapeños, and hot sauce!)Their freshly charred broccoli is everything!! And I love that they use local beer from true anomaly

Love the pizza here. Great crust and toppings. Primo forever. Adding more characters because yelp requires it.

It's Za time in Houston! We work all day at GRB across the street. We want some hot cheesy yum afterwards. We grab a whole hot wheel of meaty mighty mozza!! I always want rootbeer with my pie, not sure why. We grab a Philly cheese steak and some crayfish Mac from across the street while they bake our masterpiece of Manga. The selection of single slices is thoughtful and creative, something for every pallet. Garlic knots are naughty full of garlic to keep the vampires away during Halloween. Happy Houston habits never die but now I can go to Heaven knowing we had one of the best in this city!

Found Vinny's while at a convention in Houston. The service was excellent, the pizza was even better. From the crust up, the ingredients used and the love it's made with make this Pizza exceptional!
