Hidden gem do yourself a favor and check it out !!!!!Have meant to try this place since arriving in Texas 5 years ago ! It was worth the wait. Excellent food and service. Charming little house converted into a restaurant in downtown Conroe. We will be back again !!!!Charming is the best word I can think of to describe it. Was like walking out of Conroe straight into Grandma's house for dinner ..., and oh that sauce is beyond perfect ! I've already picked out my next choice!!! Excited to visit again soon !

Excellent Italian food. Atmosphere is cozy. Portions are good and they give you bread, salad, and a little dessert cake. Highly recommend. I had the chicken Marsala. It was phenomenal.

My husband and I have been coming here for years for lunch. It's an old house filled with antiques. All little rooms so we can have privacy and peace and quiet. Our favorite is one of their specials...Veal and artichokes in a brandy cream sauce.....fantastic. Food comes with a tasty salad. Service is excellent.

Food was mediocre at best. The calamari was rubbery . The cannelloni was undercooked. The garlic bread was the best thing we had on the table.

Great homemade Italian food and the appetizers , were amazing. Shrimp scampi and calamari.. yum! I had the Italian shrimp scampi with Angel hair pasta .. OMG..

I always love local restaurants that offer great food and excellent service, and Villa Italia is just this kind of place. Located in the downtown area of Conroe, Villa Italia is located in an old house converted to a quaint restaurant. On the night I was here Maria and I were the only guests. We reviewed the menu and I selected the Tomato Basil soup as an entree, Maria selected the Spaghetti with meatballs. If an Italian restaurant messes these 2 staples up, they should not call themselves Italian. Fortunately Villa Italia served a delicious bowl of tomato soup with warm garlic bread. It was well seasoned with large pieces of fresh tomato in a rich tomato base. The fresh basil gave the soup a fresh bite.The spaghetti pasta was perfectly prepared with a light marinara that while light was not lacking in fresh flavor. The meatballs were delicious with a soft juicy texture. I really enjoyed Villa Italia and do plan to return soon with friends and family. Support this locally owned non-chain restaurant - you will not be disappointed.

Was there with a party of 6. Looked like the red sauce dinners we OK. Ever lemon / white wine dish was not good. Bread & salads not anything special. Salad's bland. Ordered mushroom soup .. bland! My snapper was swimming in a watery sauce and way too much lemon. Wife had a chicken dish and same as my snapper/watery and not good. Won't go back. Read several 5 star reviews and totally disagree. Sad, because enjoy the mom & pop places and just a disappointment. Conroe has some far superior Italian restaurants, Joe's & Marsala's.

Can't beat the food and atmosphere in the heart of old town Conroe. Everything we have gotten here is wonderful. Highly recommend!

This quaint little place serves great Italian food! This needs to be on your radar. Food is awesome. Perfectly prepared, full of flavor. Don't hesitate to try it. Reasonably priced-- delicious flavors.
