We went to villa Denver for a girls night and was surprised how easy it was to make a reservation. Upon arrival it was completely dead- we were the only table in the lounge area. However, that did not bother us! Our server/bartender (believe his name was Casey) was such a pleasure! We got several cocktail drinks for cheap as they have a happy hour from 4-8 PM. One thing I recommend is updating their menu as it states happy hour goes till 10 PM. We then headed upstairs which was more lively with a DJ, you can purchase a table and there is also a dance floor to dance and hang if you don't have a table. From the looks of it, management has changed so it wasn't as lucrative as it once was with entertainment. However, we had a great time hanging out there!

It begins with a red carpet. I seriously felt like a celebrity walking into this beautiful new space right in the heart of Denver! I was sat in Abbys section and I can't tell you how amazing she was to us. I went in with a few friends to celebrate my birthday, and she immediately had birthday drinks over which is their a specialty drink! She gave us food recommendations, so we didn't even have to think. she brought out the best of the best. I would definitely recommend the sliders. The bread and sauce was to die for. We also got a charcuterie board that had a unique mustard that I will definitely go back for. At night it turns into a club upstairs with fire dancers and magicians. I will need more friends if I'm going to do that experience! Down stairs had live music though which was perfect for the occasion!

Service and ambiance was good for a Friday night. Food was most definitely lacking. I ordered the NY strip and it had no flavor whatsoever, especially for the price. Very disappointed. But drinks were good.

Are you looking for a sexy spot to have fabulous food and dance the night away? Look no further. Villa Denver has opened it's doors and is providing all of that and more. Villa is a full-service tapas bar with bottle service, live music, and entertainment right in downtown Denver. We arrived at Villa and headed inside to grab a drink. The aesthetic was European with white brick, stucco, deep greenery, floral wallpaper, and chandelier & lantern lighting. The décor was beautiful. The staff of Villa were chic & professional; everyone was dressed to impress and quick to serve.Once we had our first round of drinks, we headed upstairs to the parlor. The parlor is where we ate dinner, got bottle service, and had various forms of entertainment wow us throughout the night. The parlor was outlined by green velvet booths and ivy walls. We found our reserved table and sipped on champagne and espresso martinis. A magician came around and performed some card tricks for us; he was amazing. Then it was time to eat some tapas. The Sugar Daddy (Sugar & Fire Steak) was made with NY Strip, chili piloncillo rub, and charred heirloom tomatoes. The steak was delicious, juicy, and had that rich flavor characterized by a NY strip. The chili piloncillo rub added a sweet molasses taste to the meat. The charred heirloom tomatoes added pops of robust citrus. The Octopus Ceviche was made with octopus, tomatillo, avocado, & red onion. The ceviche brought fresh and tangy flavors together with the combination of tender octopus, creamy avocado, and acidic tomatillo. A fabulous spring and summer dish. The Escabeche De Tomate was made with heirloom tomatoes, apple, Anaheim pepper, & red onion. The Escabeche De Tomate was vibrant in color and flavor - smoky, spicy & sweet. We had both kinds of empanadas, bison & pork. The Bison Empanadas were made with bison, olives, & egg. The Pork Empanadas were made with pork, chicken, & potatoes. The empanadas were savory and filling. The warm, flaky empanada pastries were piping hot and stuffed with pork or bison. I loved these. The Pork Belly Arepas were made with pork belly, pineapple, rajas, & queso asadero. Once we finished eating, it was time to party. We got bottles of champagne and danced the night away. There was a fabulous saxophone player that came through. I also got keyed (a custom key necklace from Villa) to officially become a house guest. What a night!

Fun Fact: Villa Denver opened in May 2023 and is designed to feel like a house party rather than a traditional bar or nightclub. Hands down, the new Villa Denver on Market St claims the title of one of the coolest places I've been in 2023. With a fascinating juxtaposition of rustic and chic, I had just as much fun photographing the interior as I did the tapas and drinks. * Ceviche~Bright and fresh, the chips were fried plantains! Al Pastor~This skewer provided a richness to the ceviche. Choripán~A perfect pairing of spice and tang. Supposably~She may look sweet and innocent, but watch out for that smokey right hook! A frozen bubbly started me on my tasting adventure. *The variety of seating options blew my mind and the incredible details of the decor provided a visual feast. Plus, the service makes you feel like you're a regular. And take note, their website encourages you to dress to impress, so leave those yoga pants and graphic tees in the closet.

Beautiful, friendly and prompt service staff. Stunning interior. Delicious food. A bounty of vegan options including a sublime vegan smoked mozzarella. Drink prices are fair and very well made. A wonderful uplifting vibe with fashionable friendly folx all around. I really couldn't over estimate how badly Denver needed this posh perch. Put in some effort, get dressed up, and prepare to enjoy yourself. This place is a total gem.

Took over 30 minutes to get our drink order. I truly looked like our server was taking shots at the bar.

Villa provides an experience unlike anything else in Denver. From its incredible events, like the White Party or weekend house party entertainment. They provide a home for the DJs to collaborate with percussion and brass players providing the perfect ambiance for a great evening with friends. There's even a magician that will provide an unforgettable table side experience.Bottle service is perfect, the be seen Birthday parties and wedding groups having a great time as well as NBA champion nuggets having a great time on the upper level. The service has always been great and the drinks are definitely next level.

We were a table of 4 ladies checking in on a Friday around 6pm. I can't remember her name, but our server was a tall slim blonde chick with a great figure and nice personality. It was dead on an early Friday evening so we got to choose our table (last one on the right at the end of tables on the first floor). Our server was attentive and the food and drinks were amazing! I had both ceviches and a pork belly skewer, as well as a few drinks. The ceviches were great tasting but small sample-esque portions. I could have done without the pork belly and I LOVE pork belly (flavor was very ok). During the second or third round of drinks, the bottom of my friends glass broke off and spilled all over her. The bottom of the glass literally broke off from the body of the glass as she was drinking it and spilled all over her. If I can find a picture, I will add later. Our sever was shocked and offered replacement beverage. As we were catching up maybe 2 hours in, our server told us there was a party coming in that required our table and the table next to us (at that time, vacant). We were told we could move to another table or move to the bar seating. We were then offered a table that sat 3 and was told that we could grab the chair from the next party in order to fully seat our group. Considering that this was an extremely weird experience and that we could not be accommodated as an entire small group, we ended up cashing out. We were given separate checks with a gratuity of 23% each (highest I have ever seen on and establishment in Denver). We paid it and were on our way to the next spot. I cannot believe that we were essentially forced out to accommodate a larger party. We wanted to hang around and check out Villa after 9pm (we saw instagram posts and it looked like a great time), but literally felt unwelcome considering that we were removed from our seats and given less-than accommodating seating. If our alternative seating sat 4, we could totally understand, but considering it only sat 3, we literally felt like cattle just being shifted around. Put them where you can, or not...Unfortunately, as cute as this place appears to be, we will not be returning. We are extremely disappointed on how our situation was handled.

Pretty disappointing experience. They open at 5pm and we showed up after 9pm and the place was absolutely dead. So much so that when we walked in they were in the middle of a staff meeting in the middle of the bar with no music playing and looked at us like we weren't supposed to be there....this is on a Saturday mind you. We had to ask them to turn music on and even then it wasn't good music. Service wasn't very good, had to flag the bartender down even though there was literally no one else in there. And then they wouldn't let us go upstairs either which was the whole reason we went, said it wasn't open until 10. After 1 drink we left because it was so boring, was supposed to be for my 30th and was such a let down. Cute interior is all it has going in my opinion
