The food was good, salads are large and very popular. Sandwiches are made to order and fast. All meals prepared in front of you. Busy week day lunch crowed but service was fast. Ambiance was take out fore sure. Inflation hits these places hard. Prices went up. Cost is average. Support these restaurants. I recommended this business.

Another one of the places I had for lunch while in Boston. My co-workers all said they got the best sandwiches and of course, I had to give them a try.We walked from our office and ordered our food to go since the place is too small for all of us to sit down and eat. We placed our orders and can actually see our food orders while they are preparing them. Many people had either the chicken parmesan or the meatball sandwiches, so I thought I can't go wrong with either one. I eventually needed up go with the chicken. The sandwich tasted okay. Not the best chicken parmesan I ever had, but it's decent enough for under ten bucks. It still sounded a little pricy for me, but we are in the middle of downtown Boston so I guess it's reasonable in the area. I didn't take a picture of the sandwich because I thought its nothing special. I may check out other sandwiches places when I come back to Boston.

Fridays at lunch I like to treat myself to ordering out . I Love meatball subs. Tried a few places in the area and found Vigas to be top drawer ! Meatballs are tender and delicious! They also have the soft braided loaf Generous with provolone / meatballs and sauce ! My 'go-to!' For a meatball sub. I'm sure all their fare is delectable in all areas as well. I've just had their meatball subs (my fav ) and they never disappoint ! Go there for yummy food ! See you on Friday !

I like this place for a quick bite, most of the time.After a variety of sandwiches and pizza, I consider this to be a go-to for lunches. $6 and change for a slice of pizza and a drink? You betcha.The chicken Parmesan and meatball Parmesan are fantastic.Service is usually very fast. There's only been two days where things were crawling, but they also appeared to be short handed.The service is also polite. Some good people working there.It's small. You might want to take it to go at peak times. Especially, if the weather is nice.Clean and bright.

Viga is open for breakfast. The beauty of this is if you want a sandwich for breakfast they will take care of you. The home fries are out of this world! You get wonderful cubes of potatoes that are cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. This morning I tried the Treviso. Which is a chicken wrap that has an absolutely amazing pesto. An that's coming from a pesto snob. The staff are really friendly and the prices are really reasonable, especially for downtown Boston.

Viga has been a recent discovery a mine that has quickly turned into an addiction. With affordable options and quick service, Viga offers everything from sandwiches and salads, to pasta, pizza and specials. They frequently rotate their options and most items are under $8. They even have lunch combos available to patrons.I'm particularly fond of any of their sandwiches and wraps which feature their delicious, rich pesto sauce. The one I most frequently get is their Treviso ($6.59) which is a grilled chicken breast, pesto sauce, provolone, rice and tomatoes in a spinach wrap. Filling and pretty darn tasty to boot. I've never really had an issue with their service which is always very quick and never seems to get fazed by the lines. The place is pretty small though and does get pretty cramped. Occasionally there is some line confusion too but nothing too serious.On my agenda: to try their pizzas which I heard are awesome (and giant!). I haven't had their salads yet either and plan on doing so. So far the sandwiches and wraps have kept me happy and coming back though.If you're in the financial area and in need of a quick, cheap lunch, look no further.

We catered Viga for a company lunch today, ordering a variety of difference sandiwches: veggie, turkey, ham, and the chicken breast. I had a couple chicken breast sandwiches on the flatbread that were very good, however, were slathered in a bit too much mayo. If Viga was running the famous breadlines in the U.S. after the Great Depression there would have been no actual "line" to speak of, this place is insanely efficient. It felt liked seconds, not minutes, after I placed my order I was paying for it at the counter, and this was after watching 5 people in front of me do the exact same thing in almost no time at all. The food here is pretty basic Italian sandwiches, pasta and pizza for the most part, but if you're in a rush at lunch it sure beats the hell out of traditional fast food, with probably even quicker service.I decided to get the sausage and pepper sandwich (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/CRbd6ME9QAD4oMswvHMzMA?select=qHolOnhp7kd8-XlqKZNDkg), which I had to ask for some marinara sauce on top, because otherwise it's literally just some sausages and peppers in bread, a bit too simple for me. It was still a little lacking flavor wise, but at least the quality of the sausage was pretty decent. I would not recommend getting on the foccacia bread as I did, because it's just too flimsy to support the meat.
