Vicino's Pizza

We are native NY'rs...and Vicino's Pizza is "thee" best! We ordered a 14" spinach, black olive, and cheese pie. It was fresh, hot, and delicious! Sorry, we started chomping on the pizza before we could take a picture of the fabulous looking pizza.The owner was very kind and hospitable. He asked us if we wanted to eat in or take out. We were in no rush, so we had decided to dine there. It is not a fancy place, but it is clean, very close to RDU Airport, and so worth the trip to eat there...a quaint hidden gem! Kudos to the owner for providing a really delicious place to have a great meal at affordable prices! As this was our first time patronizing this eatery, we will definitely return when in the area.

Walked over for lunch after the great Delta airlines cancellation mess up! This was an awesome place! Kinda looks like a mom and pop joint. Not a lot of seating, but enough for groups. The kids had slices of cheese and the adults got a deluxe style sausage, green pepper and pepperoni. The three year-old ate two big slices of cheese! The crust is spot on and the ingredients tasted fresh. Prices are very reasonable and the help is very friendly. I would recommend it if you're going to the Raleigh Durham airport or are just out that way! It's that good!!

Best pizza I have had period. Sauce was perfect. Crust was thin and crispy. Great cheese and fresh toppings. Can't really say much more. Just lucky my hotel was next door and I found them.

This is the best NY like pizza joint I found in NC. The owner is very friendly and they are usually very busy during lunch time but not so use in the evening. I would not say the quality of the pizza matches the best one in NYC but it is close and good enough if you have a craving.

If you think you're coming for authentic Italian pizza, think again. With a name like Vicino's you would assume just that. It's not even owned by Italians. Stay away and go elsewhere. Anyone giving this place 4-5 stars are either friends or never had good food before.

For the past two to three years, I have frequented this establishment, consistently experiencing commendable service from the server who demonstrates a high level of helpfulness. My usual order comprises two slices of cheese pizza with ground beef topping, which is consistently delivered promptly and boasts a consistently fresh taste. I enthusiastically recommend this establishment to individuals seeking a convenient dining option upon exiting Highway 40.

An unexpected little gem in Morrisville, North Carolina. Great food from this little pizza joint. Pizza slice was crisp and tasty. Philly grinder and fries were served hot and fresh.

Pizza was very good. It was a little greasy but overall great flavor. Wanted eggplant parm hero's but they were out of eggplant. We ordered a chicken parm & sausage peppers & for onions. I would not recommend their hero's. The chicken was like chicken strips & the sausage was sliced sausage. Sauce in both was not too good either.

The pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots were outstanding!!! We were just passing through and needed a quick bite to eat and this was perfect. As a NYC transplant it gave me all the feels to sit in the shop and eat! Just wish the crust was a little thicker!

The pizza is ok, not the greatest NY style. The staff were friendly but were sitting down in the dining room while the food was cooking and between orders, he then used his hands to grab the pizza without washing them. It is an older place but clean.
