Vero Italian Kitchen

This was the first time I ordered pizza from here and I must say it was delicious. I am not a big pizza eater. I may eat it twice a year. I think I will be eating it more now from here. The crust was cooked Just right. My pizza had a lot of flavor and it's not like other pizza places where you are stuffed after 2 pieces. I ordered a medium cheese and ate the whole thing, except for all the crust even though I wanted too. My husband got a large pepperoni and he devoured it. We will have to try there other dishes. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. The only downfall to our pizza was we had it delivered and the it was cold. I would recommend this place!

Glad to find this one out here in Conroe. We used to go to the one in Cypress when we lived out that way and the manager or owner , John ,was incredible. Knew Us by name. This location, the food is really good, same great quality, with a rare lunch buffet on Tuesdays. I would bet good money this location is run by a guy. There are six dirty tables and the floor definitely needs attention. I think there are too many tables in the dining room and it looks cluttered. There's no space between seating. My seat, at a low top table , is about 6 inches from another table, a high top. So basically I have a woman's butt pretty much in my face. We were bumped into at least 3 times. Unfortunately, with all of the dirty tables, the choice to sit down, should somebody new come in, is very limited. Most businesses need a refresher course on customer service, across the board.Back to the buffet. It's very small and the employees serve you which was done pre-pandemic. It's a good idea to be honest with you. They do a really good job of keeping the pasta fresh. They have quite a few pasta choices, including ravioli, spaghetti with meatballs and fettuccine alfredo all really good. In my opinion the buffet is a little pricey, two buffets and two drinks $30. Not including a tip. No, we do not have the tip because nothing was done for us but, I always still tip something. The food is good like I said, but we probably will not do the buffet again. They do have an incredible strawberry spinach salad, with a poppyseed dressing,I will be back for that. I'm sticking with the 4 star review because despite the dirty tables and a premium price tag, we support local businesses.

It's a shame because the chicken Alfredo is decent and the bread may be the best in all of Montgomery county. Sadly they charge a $2 fee for using a credit card and the men's restroom smells like an open sewer. Really terrible nasty stink.

We absolutely love Vero!! It is one of our favorite places to go and eat after church on Sundays. I stopped in at Vero around 9pm tonight. The owner kindly met me in the parking lot to let me know that they closed at 8:30. I was really bummed out because I had just waited an hour at another restaurant. The owner apologized, came up to my truck with a whole tray filled with chicken Parmesan from a catering event he just got back from, and gave it to me!! It was the kindest gesture I've gotten from anyone in such a long time. I will never forget it and I'm so grateful, thank you!!

Have seen this place for a long time and finally decided to try it! To say it's Italian "fast food" would demean it. Order at the counter and they bring you your food. Not a high end place, but definitely a good meal. Also a very clean place. Staff was nice and everyone seemed to keep busy. My daughter had the chicken alfredo and I enjoyed the chicken pizzaiolo sandwich. Sandwich: warm toasted sandwich was nice and crisp. Flavor was spot on and the portion was enough to share. Daughter liked the Alfredo, but it comment it was "pretty garlicy"Stop in for a good Italian meal with no frills, if you're in a hurry.

Strawberry spinach salad with grilled chicken was awesome. So fresh! Definitely will come back.

This place was awful, the food was so so greasy, they got our orders wrong and we all left with a stomach ache. The manager did come over and realize their mistake and fixed it, but we were all eating at different times as the food that needed to be fixed took longer.Not impressed!

The food is always great and the service is friendly and fast. My son drives all the way from Cypress where there used to be a Veros to have dinner with us. Food is always fresh and on point. Delicious

Great but the old location before Covid was better do recommend for good food and a happy smile.

The service is a little slow but the ravioli is amazing! And I love the garlic bread. I will come back again
