Verde Garden

We definitely came back for Cinco de Mayo! They have nice decorations but it was raining so we all were a bit crowded underneath the patio. But it was lighting up so it wasn't too bad. I ordered the queso and chips again and got their mushroom al pastor quesadilla and it was SO good!!! This is a great spot for some good Mexican food and patio vibes!

Let me start off by saying the place is beautiful. Definitely a great place to meet up with a group. I came here for happy hour and I thought they had a lot of options to choose from and great prices! However, I wasn't a fan of any of the drinks I got. I ordered 3 different types of drinks: pájaro valley, tío jimmy, and eagle powers. Idk what it was but I wasn't impressed at all. Our table got chips and salsa, quesadillas, elote, a tres leches, and chicharrón. Everything tasted average; nothing compared to an actual Mexican restaurant but it was good for bar food. I do think it was pricey for what it was.Service was OK. Somehow she charged someone else's tab to my card. Luckily I saw I saw the notification from my bank and had the manager void the charge.

I came here for drinks. I made a reservation for 15 and they split us up between two tables. Not everyone showed up, but calling that seating for 15 was a bit of a stretch. I had made the reservation well in advance, so I was a bit disappointed by the way they seated us. I ordered a rum based drink called el cukui. I was pretty bummed because it was bland and flavorless. I tried about 6 other drinks at the table and only one, the zarza, was worth getting if you ask me. The entire large parking lot is blocked off for valet, which is very annoying. The ambiance was cute but I didn't feel like it would be worth revisiting. A lot of these 5 star reviews seem a bit questionable--a lot have only one review and it's for Verde Garden.

The ambiance of this place is awesome. Its in midtown but its set off the busy street of Dallas in its own little villa like setting. We ordered the Brussels, queso and crackling. Everything was good. The verde drink is really pretty and I actually liked the tast of it, kind of like a blended matcha taste. The drink prices are expensive, to me, and they are not that strong. We ended up ordering just a platinum margarita on the rocks and it def had more bite. I will def return!

Came here last night with my friend and it was really cute! There was lots of seating, some couches with low tables, bar seating, regular tables, and high top tables. It felt like you were in a magical garden!!For food and drinks, my friend and I both got the El Duende frozen cocktail, chips and queso, I got beef tacos and my friend got chicken tacos. The chips and queso were by far the best thing we had!! It was light, with tons of flavor. I just could not stop eating them!! The El Duende frozen cocktail was sweet and tasty, the presentation was beautiful as well. The tacos were honestly a bummer. Three very small tacos for $12, you would think they would be incredible but they were just average. The green salsa that came with it though was very tasty.Service wise, there were no waiters. We ordered our food using a QR code on the table and paid right as we ordered. Our food and drinks came out fast which was nice.I would come again, but only for the drinks and chips and queso. The food wasn't worth it for the price. I would come here for a girls night most likely and sit in one of the sections with couches and have it be a cute chill night.

Good setting awful service , good was not bad but tab was way higher than the printed prices and the waiter kept rushing us.You could go to any taco stand on Washington and pay way less and get good tacos.All the hype and clout ! Not really worth it .

This is a diamond in the rough. Nestled in the heart of Montrose, Verde Garden offers three distinct areas to enjoy; from the outdoor sports patio, communal beer and wine interior to the cozy cocktails corner, a place for everyone. Bartenders were friendly.

Good food and great service! The patio was wonderful on a nice day. Highly recommend.

Great food, amazing drinks, staff is super personable. Indoor/outdoor establishment with a true Mexican patio feel.
