We had really high hopes for this brewery, but we were sadly disappointed with our first visit. We drove 30 minutes to try Vallensons for the first time, and made sure to check the beer list AND QR code on their website before making the trip. When we arrived, they were out of ALL IPAS besides a 9.2% one, even though their online list stated that they had five varieties on tap. As IPA drinkers, the extensive IPA list is what made us choose the brewery and make the drive . Additionally, they were out of several other beers that other people in our party looked up on the site and wanted to try. When we inquired about the misleading selection, we were told "the online list is never accurate" and "you can't trust it" When I asked if the best way to confirm their beer selection was to call ahead , I was told "we don't have a direct line." Good service, nice atmosphere, but for a brewery that advertised to have such an extensive selection, we were extremely disappointed. We understand it's a small family owned brewery, but if they can't keep up with the demand,at the very least, they could update the online menu or come up with a way to convey their beer list to potential customers. Could have been a hit, but it was definitely a miss this time. We would like to give them another chance, but couldn't get an answer how to verify current beers on tap .

It's a shame I took so long to come to one of Pearland's only breweries. I've heard how great it is, but always find myself in Houston checking places out over there since most of my friends live in town. I just happened to have some friends in my neck of the woods for lunch and we decided to have a few brews after. They open at 2 on Saturday and we got their shortly after they opened. The place was already busy and I can totally see why. What I really like about this place is how family friendly it is. They have a large outside patio area that all the families were congregated at. Inside was nice and cozy with plenty of seating. They also have projectors playing the games which is a big plus for me. Browsing the menu, I saw they had a few sours which I am a sucker for. I was full from lunch and knew I was good for one drink, so I made that one drink count. I went with the Tangerine Sour. It had a orange juice look and consistency to it. The flavor was true to it's name and was very good. Not overly sweet with just the right about of tartness. Everyone in my group liked whatever they had as well. Though they don't sell food, they did have a food truck post up outside. They brought around QR codes to scan and order from your seat, and then it would notify you when you food was ready. I thought that was a great thing to have as an option if you made a day out of hanging out here. They also allow outside food and there is a few fast food options within walking distance. My friend's and I have already determined we are going to put this in our regular rotation of hang out spots!

I'm kicking myself for taking so long to go back to Vallenson's. This was my second visit. My first was a few years ago before they expanded their taproom. I think that may have been one reason why I didn't stop by more, prior to the expansion. The inside was small and the majority of the property was outdoors. With this new taproom, it's very large! There's cool murals on the walls, tons of seating, an awesome playlist, multiple TVs to watch sports, and super cool bartenders. The outside is more fenced in, but they have tons of picnic tables. The patio is dog friendly and the brewery is family friendly. There were lots of kids playing outside and they all seemed to be well behaved (thank goodness)!I can't remember which beers I sampled, but I ended up getting the Christmas Ale. I was surprised they still had a Christmas Ale at the end of January, so I had to take advantage. The bartender told me they were almost out. It was really good and had a lot of flavor.I chatted with one of the bartenders and he explained that they had to pivot during the pandemic. They offered to go orders as well as food to comply with the 51% TABC rule. I'm so glad they've been able to survive since they are the only brewery left in Pearland. They did have a food truck parked out front. The owner of the food truck brought around little slips of paper with the menu QR code. I believe they text you when your order is ready. You can bring outside food if you would like. I remember on my first visit, lots of people walked to the Wendy's next door and brought over food. This is such a cool place to hang, grab a beer, and enjoy the company of friends and family. I will definitely be frequenting this place more often because 1. It's awesome, 2. It's in my hood, and 3. We need to continue to support small local businesses!

What a great place to hang after enjoying a delicious burger! The service was great. Bartenders were super friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed their Peanut Butter Blonde Ale that wasn't at all sweet and had a nice smell and hinted taste of peanut butter. It was light and refreshing, not at all heavy. Clean bathrooms.Clean establishment overall. We sat at the perfect spot, a table inside that was just on the edge of the patio. We had the warmth of the indoors but the cool breeze and sunshine of the outside. It was perfect. The patio is very spacious and a great place to get some fresh air and/or to let your kids and/or dogs run around and play. Well maybe your kids, probably best to have the dogs sit/stay.I look forward to returning.

It might not look like much from the outside, but there's a lot to appreciate when it comes to Vallenson's. Their outstanding Yelp rating is no fluke, they've definitely taken their space and made the most of it. I've really enjoyed all of my experiences here.Upon entering, one will notice immediately that this is a family-friendly / very group-friendly place. No reservations are required in advance and walk-ins are welcome. There is a whole slew of indoor and outdoor seating that can practically accommodate any group.Because so much of their space encompasses the outdoors, it's always best to go out during good weather days (#1). Kids are usually running around the back area and on some occasions they'll feature live music (#2). While the parking lot is not that large, it becomes even smaller on select nights when they have a food truck. The bartenders are always super nice. They have let me sample the whole menu in one go-around without ever the pressure to buy a pint. Speaking of prices, they're super affordable with a majority of the beers at $8 and under. And more importantly, the beer is quite tasty. I have really taken a liking to their peanut butter blonde, which has a nutty but smooth finish and is generous with the ABV at 7%. One of their popular sours, Pink, is a bit tart with hints of cherry, and is a fragrant drink despite only being 3.5% ABV. When in doubt, their hefeweizen is a practical go-for me and if I'm feeling like getting something heavier, the bourbon barrel aged doppelbock is a whopper at 9.5% or their even heavier secretariat BBA imperial amber at 11.7%.The vibe is casual with zero pretense and an ideal meet-up spot for folks looking for a drink in the Pearland scene. (#3) Vallenson's has already become one of my favorite places in the neighborhood and will likely get many more beers out of me before I ever get tired of them (#4)__________(#1) Given the area's somewhat unpredictable inclement weather, this is always a nice gamble.(#2) They should really look into additional acts.(#3) A slight oxymoron.(#4) Highly unlikely.

Not bad, not bad at all. This place has a area for groups and families. They usually have food trucks but they may sell out. The staff are nice and engaging. It can become a bit chaotic when its busy but pack a little patience and it will be okay. Overall a good place to grab a beer and a goos conversation.

I came here on Saturday night to celebrate an Elite friend's bday with a group after din din. This is a cool brewery. I was surprised to see the parking lot and side streets so packed. This is a family-friendly brewery, which I think a lot of parents seemed VERY happy about. Especially since it's near the burbs. There were kids a plenty. Dogs are also welcome.I will say the house band/entertainment was a little distracting outside. I was not able to enjoy many conversations with the group. The set ran on a little too long. Drinks - I had the cherry sour beer, which was light and tasty. And a cider which I also enjoyed. The service was nice. Bartender offered samples as long as they were on tap and not from a can.Very easy breezy chill place for a kickback for a group.

I stopped by Vallensons' Brewing Company on a Friday evening with a couple of friends. Vallensons' has been on my list for quite a while since there aren't a lot of breweries in Pearland. The only other one I can think of is Bakfish. Parking was easy in the lot adjacent to the brewery. Vallensons' has an indoor area with several TVs but we posted up outside on their spacious patio. They have plenty of picnic-style seating and a large backyard. There were people playing disc hockey. And kids running around. It is a family-friendly spot if you want to bring the kiddos. While they don't have food, you're allowed to bring food to the brewery. Some people had brought pizza, for example. Now to get to the most important stuff: the beer! Like most breweries, you're allowed to sample a beer prior to making a purchase. They have a large selection, including a good number of sours. I had three beers and enjoyed them all.

Beer was just okay, did not try any food. More of a family place on a Sunday afternoon with kids everywhere. If you have little kids would be great, if your kids are older or no kids maybe not the time to come. Seems like would be a nice place to watch a sporting event.
