Beautiful covered patio seating and nice Italian restaurant. Our meal stared with the panzanella salad and the bread service which is a must! This bread must be baked fresh in this restaurant or somewhere close and it is served with a whipped lemon ricotta and a high end seasoned olive oil. The panzanella salad with amazing and the small croutons must have been made with the same bread that comes in the bread service. Our entrees were the meatball and spaghettini and the dish called trottholeOur service was attentive to our needs and made great recommendations. If you are in Brookhaven area and looking for a great spot for dinner, Valenza is mus. Spaghettini and meatballs were properly seasoned and enough for two servings. The trotthole was also properly seasoned, fresh ingredients, and the perfect mixture. The trottole contained broccoli rabe, sausage, red pepper flakes and a simple sauce of extra virgin olive oil. . Valenza is definitely my favorite restaurant in Brookhaven and possibly one of my favorites in the metro Atlanta area. You can never go wrong at Valenza. Remember to ask your server for the specials you might find a delightful surprise.

Bring your flash lights. the place is so dark. I understand its part of the aesthetic but walking to the bathroom I almost ran into ppl. I had the BISTECCA dish.. its wagyu steak strips.. why did I eat chunks of salt then? The meat was very chewy however cooked to how I asked. The sauce was very very saltythen they sprinkle MORE sea salt at the endyou spend money on wagyu bc you expect to eat quality cooked meat. My friend got the same dish and it was equally as salty so it seems like that's how they make it.. the tiramisu was really good.

Everything was great! Food was delicious, from the appetizers to the entrees. We were too stuffed to try the desserts. Atmosphere was great. The staff was very attentive. We will be going back. Next time I'll get pics of the good. Although the restaurant was packed, and a few people were waiting, we were able to get seated immediately, as I had made reservations for three.

I've been here a few times now - all of them at the bar ordering a drink and dinner. I'm not sure why I waited over 2 years living in the neighborhood to come here, but I regret that. The bartender I have seen every time, Michael, is lovely and really makes an effort to remember people and it's a nice place to sit and chat with other folks sitting at the bar. The dirty martini I order has been perfect every time. I've only ordered the bucatini Carbonara as my entree all 3 times as it is one of my favorite dishes. It is the best you will get in the area. The pasta is cooked perfectly. There is no garbage cream added to it. The flavor is on point. It is what you should expect and get when ordering the dish. This place is worth the visit!

Everything at Valenza was fantastic! The ambiance was very romantic and had a very welcoming vibe for an upscale place. All of the ingredients in the stracciatella salad were very fresh and the pastas were amazing! I ordered the trotolle and it was so flavorful, if you like italian sausage I would definitely recommend!

We throughly enjoyed this restaurant!! We made a reservation for a party of 6 on a Sunday and had no problem getting seated as soon as we arrived. There was plenty of room at our round table for all of us. Our server started by telling us the specials that day. I thoroughly enjoyed the special Summer Salad with fresh peaches and beets. It was spectacular! We did order bread as well which wasn't great. It was hard and not worth $6 but that's really my only complaint. For dinner, I ordered the Agnolotti stuffed with delicious tender short rib. It was served in a mushroom sauce with corn. It was a perfect portion and flavor! Everyone at our table enjoyed their entrees as well. For dessert, I ordered the bread pudding with chocolate gelato. It was soooo good!! I highly recommend this restaurant for all ages and party sizes! There's plenty of room for everyone and there's a cute patio area as well.

Some of the best Italian food I've had in Atlanta! We started off with the bread and the roasted carrot special. Both were delicious but overall the entrees were the best part. The Agnolotti was amazing and left me wanting to come back asap just to get it again! We got the white chocolate bread pudding with dark chocolate gelato and this was delicious! Had a great dinner and service was amazing as well!

My boyfriend and I have been to Valenza several times, which is why I found it surprising that I apparently had yet to write a Yelp review. I tried to upload as many pictures as I could from our dinners here, but Yelp only allows 10. AppetizersWe have tried:-fritto misto (calamari, ga. red shrimp, cod, lemon, capers)-cozze (mussels, roasted garlic, fennel, sambuca, tomatoes, white wine, ciabatta)-bietole arrosto (roasted beets, buratta, fennel, mercier apples, arugula, radish, lemon)-pane (our rosemary foccacia and rustic sourdough, whipped ricotta)-polpo (grilled mediterranean octopus, panelle, castelvetrano olives, chickpea, pine nuts, aleppo)-meatballs Looking at my list, I'm impressed with us that we've had so many different appetizers! I remember on our very first evening at Valenza, our waiter brought us complimentary meatballs which were exquisite. If I remember correctly, they may have come from Vero Pizzeria, their sister restaurant. That was very kind of him, and it was very appreciated. You honestly can't go wrong with any of these appetizers... they are all incredible. EntréesWe have tried:-capellini (fresh heirloom tomato, basil, parmesan)-linguine nero (squid ink pasta, ruby red shrimp, 'nduja, green onion, tomato, white wine)-salmone (grilled steelhead salmon, umbria lentils, swiss chard, cauliflower)-special: scallops Both pastas are yummy. The capellini is very light. There isn't a ton of flavor here, but the fresh basil made the dish. The linguine nero has a lot more going on than the capellini. It's fresh and flavorful, and visually stunning. Beware, your unmentionables may turn black in the following days after consuming it, as your body digests it. Do not be alarmed. It's just the squid ink. This will go away! I say this because we panicked when it first happened to us. The salmon dish is just as tasty as it is beautiful. The scallop dish I had last year was amazing. It was a special, and I hope that one day it can make it to the permanent menu. Until then, I have but memories... DessertWe have tried: -ricotta cheesecake with salted pine nut caramel-crostataBe sure to save room for dessert. The first dessert we ever got here was a peach crostata. They must change their crostata seasonally because the last time we were here, it is: ga apples, blackberries, balsamic, vanilla gelato. Both crostatas were divine. I can't pick between them, but I'd confidently choose whatever crostata they have as my favorite of their desserts because I know it will be good. My boyfriend loved the ricotta cheesecake, which was also delicious. Of course we will continue to be recurring customers. The ambiance is comfortably elegant. It feels upscale but not stuffy. The service is great--we always have friendly and helpful servers. Next time (because God willing, of course there will be a next time), I would like to try the ravioli because I've heard great things.
