The food was delicious and the service was amazing! We were visiting from Houston, and our friends recommended it highly. Well, they were definitely correct!! We indulged in a plethora of happy hour drinks and yummy bites. My favorites were the spicy cauliflower, trout dip, the Rita pizza, and a perfectly sweet sangria. Eating out in the fresh air was so pleasant. I can't wait to come back to Urban Village next time we're in town.

Came here before a concert for a couple drinks and small plates. Service was quick, beers were cold, and food was delicious! Wish we had more time (and bigger stomachs) to try more things from their menu!

We were looking for a place to meet up that was away from the Mummers Parade route as we were meeting up on New Year's day. This location in Northern Liberties was perfect for friends coming in from South Jersey and Reading Pennsylvania because they would not have to mess with any of the Broad Street /City Hall traffic. There is no dedicated to parking lot so you've got to find street parking and it is a busy street and as there are several other restaurants and bars but nonetheless everybody found a spot pretty easily. I made a reservation through open table so we had no wait when we arrived. Our waitress was super friendly and patient as we were too busy catching up to even look at the menu despite the several times coming by the table to see if we were ready. She never made us feel rushed and was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Two of our friends are big beer drinkers so they appreciated trying the craft beers and enjoyed them. I'm not a beer drinker so I got the heirloom daiquiri (and even though it wasn't the fruity pureed type of Daiquiri I prefer) it was sweet which is what I look for in a cocktail! Not pictured, our friend ordered the Betty White pizza and loved it. Our other friend ordered the fried calamari and said it was typical in taste with no complaints. My friend and I both ordered the beet salad with roasted chicken and it was amazing! Pictured below you'll see that it not only has beets and goat cheese with lettuce in a refreshing dressing but it also comes with spiced roasted chickpeas which I love! I would eat the salad again and again!

Super fun space for a day drinking / lunch spot! We sat outside in the heated tent patio space and loved the atmosphere here. We got some of the home brewed beers, truffle fries, cheese board and some wine. Food was good, but nothing super and service was good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and we walked in after our brunch across the street and were able to sit right down. Def a cool spot to pop into if you're walking around northern liberties!

Great beer and even better food. The nickel bag of funk (5% ABV) is a nice crisp West Coast pale ale with Citra and Mosaic hops. It brings the funk without overpowering.Oatis is a 7% ABV oatmeal stout that drops chocolate bombs on you. A bit too heavy for 16oz, but I recommend 4 or 8oz pours for sure. You could treat it as a dessert beer to finish.Food standouts:1. Pierogies: made in-house and stuffed with potato & pepperjack cheese served with house kraut, caramelized onions & fennel. A flavor bomb that pairs well with their beers; and2. The Mediterranean beet salad with sweet potato hummus, spinach, arugula, goat cheese, pickled veggies, crispy chick peas and a herb vinaigrette. Fresh, tasty and balanced. Logistics: Reservations via Open Table. Online ordering via Toast.

Stopped in on a Friday night after dinner at a local restaurant. Walked into the covered outdoor area. Wasn't sure where to go to get seated as it wasn't clear. Finally found it and we were seated in the covered outdoor area where we walked in. It was very nice and clean. They have lots of sturdy old school picnic tables in that section. There was live music that night so it was a nice addition to the visit.I tried a stout and my friend got the cider on the menu. Everything was good-service, drinks, etc. oh and the cute dog and the table next to us was a bonus!

Urban Village is a local favorite of mine. They've always got good rotations on tap, the staff is really friendly and the happy hour is on point. The food especially the pizza is really good here. It's large enough for groups but great for a close intimate meal with family or friends as well. You can't go wrong at this place.
